Abstract
The invention relates to a workpiece suction retaining device (10), having a front face (16), which is to be turned to the workpiece to be grasped and retained by the suction retaining device and on which at least one suction channel (22) provided in the suction retaining device opens between a workpiece and the suction retaining device front face in order to produce a vacuum, wherein the suction retaining device front face forms a contact surface (16) for a contact area of the workpiece to be retained, which contact area interacts with the suction retaining device during use of the suction retaining device.

Abstract
The invention relates to an oil drain closure element, particularly an oil drain screw, for closing an oil drain opening in an engine oil pan of an automobile engine; in order to avoid complications when draining oil in the course of an oil change, the oil drain closure element is configured and/or at least primarily made of such a material that the specific gravity of the closure element (total weight divided by the volume of the closure element) is less than that of the oil, in order to make the closure element able to float in oil.
