Abstract
Provided is a process for producing a refined vegetable oil, the process including the steps of heating a crude vegetable oil at temperatures between 55°C to 95°C to produce a heated crude vegetable oil, providing between 0.5w/w to 1.0w/w of a dechlorination agent to the heated crude vegetable oil to produce a dechlorinated vegetable oil, wherein the dechlorination agent is selected from sodium metabisulfite, sodium bisulfite, sodium thiosulfate, sulfur dioxide, sodium ascorbate, hydrogen peroxide, sodium nitrite, sodium sulphite, calcium thiosulfate or any combination thereof for a dechlorination period of between 1 to 50 days, filtering the dechlorinated vegetable oil to remove the dechlorination agent, degumming of the dechlorinated vegetable oil with organic acids at the temperature range between 85°C to 95°C to produce a degummed vegetable oil, bleaching of the degummed vegetable oil to produce a bleached vegetable oil and deodorizing the bleached vegetable oil to produce a refined vegetable oil.

Abstract
Disclosed is a system for extracting palm oil from plurality of palm fruitlet. The system includes a threshing unit, an enzyme dosing unit, a maceration unit, a digester unit and a press unit. The enzyme dosing unit to apply one or more enzymes cocktail to the threshed palm fruitlets discharged into the maceration unit. The maceration unit receives the threshed palm fruitlets to mix and homogenize the palm fruitlets and enzyme in order to soften and disintegrate the palm fruitlets. The digester receives the macerated palm fruitlets to improve release of palm oil through the rupture of oil bearing cells. The one or more enzymes cocktail composed of: cellulases, hemicellulases, pectinases and xylanases. The press unit receives the digested palm fruitlets to extract the palm oil.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for producing a heat stable edible oil and/or fat composition comprising the steps of contacting an oxidized crude glyceride oil with porous adsorbent particles, degumming, bleaching and separating the oil from the porous adsorbent particles and beaching materials, and deodorising the oil to form the heat stable edible oil and/or fat composition.

Abstract
Methods for obtaining oil palm plants that have tolerance to Ganoderma boninense, for cultivation for agricultural use, are disclosed. A treatment group and a control group of oil palm plants are cultivated together, roots of the treatment group, but not the control group, are contacted with Ganodermo boninense, and the groups are further cultivated together. Levels of transcripts of a cell-wall-related-protein gene, a transcription factor gene, a disease-resistance protein gene, and a jasmonic-acid-signalling gene are determined. Toleranceto Ganoderma boninense is predicted based on the levels of the transcripts being higher for treatment versus control. If the treatment group is predicted to have tolerance, then the treatment group is transplanted for cultivation. If not, then the treatment group is culled.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a process of concentrating epoxidized natural rubber latex into epoxidized natural rubber latex concentrate. The process comprises the steps of pre-treating the epoxidized natural rubber latex with ammonium laureate; and passing the pre-treated epoxidized natural rubber latex through a ceramic ultrafiltration membrane module repeatedly under a trans-membrane pressure of 3 to 4 bar (300 to 400 kPa), wherein the ceramic ultrafiltration membrane comprises a plurality of membrane skids, each membrane skid containing a plurality of membranes having pore size between 50 nm and 100 nm, to obtain an epoxidized natural rubber latex concentrate having a dry rubber content of more than 50%. A system for concentrating epoxidized natural rubber latex into epoxidized natural rubber latex concentrate having a dry rubber content of more than 50% is also provided.
