Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for activating natural killer cells, comprising a step of providing electrical stimulation to natural killer cells. Specifically, electrical stimulation under predetermined conditions is applied to natural killer cells by applying an electrical stimulation system established through a 3D-printed electrical stimulation device and a function generator. Here, cancer cell-killing ability and calcium ion-mediated mechanisms are analyzed among induced intracellular effects. In addition, with respect to the natural killer cells produced according to the present invention, a method capable of enhancing the efficacy of a cell therapeutic agent without introducing genetic modification is presented, and the cells can be used to study the correlation between the cancer cell-killing ability and the intracellular calcium ion levels of electrically stimulated natural killer cells.

Abstract

The present embodiment provides a composite film in which a plurality of composite inorganic particles, which are inorganic particles having a fluoropolymer coating film formed therein, are sintered to form a plane shape. Therefore, the low dielectric inorganic particle composite film may reduce signal loss by being hybridized with an interlayer insulator in a high-frequency 5G area. The low dielectric inorganic particles may minimize transmission loss by enhancing dielectric properties when applied to a 5G smartphone substrate and an IF cable, since the composite film used as an interlayer insulator for a communication substrate material comprises only the inorganic particles. In addition, application of the low dielectric inorganic particles may be expanded to vehicles, construction, and IoT products which will use 5G communication in the future.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a cationic amphiphilic polypeptide for RNA delivery and a method for manufacturing same. It was confirmed that a polypeptide polymer in which a conjugate having diethylenetriamine (DET) bonded to aspartic acid and a conjugate having octylamine (OCT) bonded to aspartic acid are bound in a specific sequence exhibits superior mRNA transcription efficiency compared to polymers in which the conjugates are bound in different orders. Thus, the polypeptide polymer, a manufacturing method therefor, and an RNA delivery composition containing same can be advantageously utilized.

Abstract

A technology relating to a phototherapy device is disclosed. A therapeutic light source for outputting red light having a peak wavelength in the range of 660 nm±2% is driven by a driving pulse train having a constant pulse period during a pulse fluctuation period. The pulse period is randomly determined within a first range for each pulse fluctuation period. The optical radiant power density of a red wavelength band may be limited to be within the range of 20-100 mW/cm2-cm. A pause period of a random length in which the light source is turned off may be interposed between pulse fluctuation periods. In addition, the driving pulse train outputted during the pulse fluctuation period may have a randomly determined duty ratio.

Abstract

The present invention relates to humanized antibodies targeting human EphA10 and use thereof. The antibody specific to EphA10 or an immunologically active fragment thereof according to the present invention specifically bind to EphA10, a highly promising target for overcoming resistance and non-responsiveness to existing immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies. When created with the antibody, an ADC was found to specifically kill cancer cells. Therefore, it can be used as a therapeutic antibody for cancer treatment leveraging cancer cell death mechanisms via immune cell activation or for treating EphA10-expressing cancers, or as a cell therapeutic for treating EphA10-expressing cancers, and can also be used for cancer diagnosis.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel system and method for whole genome sequencing (WGS), which detects the sequence of a structural variant with high sensitivity by using cfDNA samples derived from cancer patients and uses data on the structural variant that has been detected, to diagnose minimal residual disease in cancer patients. The present invention enables detecting the sequence of a structural variant, even when a cancer cell line and NA12878 were mixed at a ratio of 1:12,800, and sensitively identifying the sequence of a structural variant in cfDNA of metastatic lung cancer patients. Therefore, the method for detecting the sequence of a structural variant in cfDNA samples derived from cancer patients, according to the present invention, can be used to detect the sequence of a patient-specific structural variant with high sensitivity, even when a cancer-derived cfDNA is present at a low concentration in blood, etc., and to detect cancer cells remaining in a patient after cancer treatment, even when the sample size is small, and thus can be universally applied in the diagnosis of minimal residual disease regardless of the type of cancer.

Abstract

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for summarization of unsupervised video with efficient key frame selection reward functions. Frame-level visual features are extracted from an input video. An attention weight is computed and an importance score is represented as a frame tracking probability for selecting a key frame using the attention weight. A temporal consistency reward function and a representativeness reward function are obtained so as to select the key frame, based on a visual similarity distance and temporal distance between key frames, and an attention-based video summarization network is trained to predict an importance score for selecting a key frame of a video summary by using the temporal consistency reward function and the representativeness reward function. A video summary is created by selecting a corresponding key frame based on the predicted importance score, the quality of the created video summary is evaluated, and policy gradient learning is performed for the attention-based video summarization network. Regularization and reconstruction loss is calculated for controlling the probability to select a key frame by using the importance score of the selected key frame. A video summary is created based on the calculated regularization and reconstruction loss.

Abstract

The electronic apparatus includes a memory stored with a multiple light field unit (LFU) structure in which a plurality of light fields is arranged in a lattice structure, and a processor configured to, based on a view position within the lattice structure being determined, generate a 360-degree image based on the view position by using the multiple LFU structure, and the processor is configured to select an LFU to which the view position belongs from among the multiple LFU structure, allocate a rendering field-of-view (FOV) in predetermined degrees based on the view position, generate a plurality of view images based on a plurality of light fields comprising the selected LFU and the allocated FOV, and generate the 360-degree image by incorporating the generated plurality of view images.
