The invention relates to panel elements (1, 1') having two large surfaces (2) and surrounding end faces (3), produced from a first wood material (4) in the form of layered solid wood with a substantially homogeneous density of greater than 350 kg/m3 and produced from a second wood material (5) in the form of a layer with a porosity, wherein the average density of the layer of the second wood material (5) is less than 270 kg/m3. Layers of the first and second wood material (4, 5) are assembled in a stacked manner with adhesive connections between the consecutive layers. In addition, at least one layer of the second wood material (5) is arranged between two layers of the first wood material (4) as a cohesive layer, in the manner in which they were produced or provided with pores. The two large surfaces (2) are formed by layers of the first wood material (4).

LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, USE OF SAME, AND LIGHTWEIGHT PANEL AND INSULATING MATERIAL
A lightweight construction element (1) comprises at least one lightweight panel (2) and a layer of insulating material (4) associated with the lightweight panel (2), wherein the at least one lightweight panel (2) comprises boards (6) having, on at least one of the main surfaces (8) thereof, a group of parallel running grooves (9) and being arranged in at least one layer (5) and being connected to each other via adhesive bonds. The layer of insulating material (4) comprises wood chips (19), which are removed from the starting boards during the manufacture of boards (6) with grooves (9) for the lightweight panel (2). These lightweight construction elements have good load properties and thermal insulation properties. The material used originates from one source and achieves a large overall volume after processing.
