The invention relates to a transfer arrangement (1) intended to be integrated in a device suitable for transferring, into a female mammal, a reproductive, therapeutic or diagnostic material or substance contained in the interior space of a straw, characterized in that the arrangement (1) comprises: a protective sleeve (5) having open proximal and distal ends (5b) and an internal axial duct (50) extending between the proximal and distal ends (5b); and a junction element (4) secured to the sleeve (5) and inserted axially into the duct (50), the junction element (4) being a hollow body having open proximal (4a) and distal (4b) ends and a longitudinal passage (6) extending between the proximal (4a) and distal (4b) ends, the junction element (4) having a proximal part (40) intended to cooperate with the straw and a distal part (41) intended to cooperate with the proximal end of an inner sheath of the device, the proximal part (40) having means for retaining the straw.

Device for vaginal access to the uterus of a female livestock animal for the purpose of performing a transfer of material or for collecting samples, said device comprising a body integrally connected to gripping means, a first passage extending through the device and opening out at its two ends in order to establish an access route between the inside and the outside of the animal, characterized in that the body is straight and rigid in order to permit its introduction into the vagina of the animal, and that a cup is provided at its distal end, a projection extending from the bottom of the cup and having a through-hole in communication with the first passage, the cup having an orifice in communication with a second passage extending through the body and connected to suction means, by which it is possible to place the cup flat against the fornix of the neck of the uterus, with viewing means likewise being provided in order to permit viewing at the front of said cup.

The body assembly comprises a rod extending away from the outer sheath, and on which a shuttle assembly is slidingly mounted, comprising a primary shuttle, mounted sliding on said rod and to which the piston is attached, and a secondary shuttle, mounted sliding on said primary shuttle and to which the inner sheath is attached.
