The invention consists of a system (21) for the continuous treatment of products such as waste by thermal input, comprising: - a product treatment chamber (210), - a device (211) for supplying heat by microwave generators (211a), arranged with respect to said chamber (210) such that the microwaves are contained in said chamber (210), - a moving floor transportation device (212) resting on the bottom of the chamber (210), capable of transporting a layer of products (D) from the entry thereof into the chamber until the exit thereof from the chamber, - a containment device (213) for the products and the vapours released by same, inside said chamber.
The invention relates to a device intended for decontaminating waste by way of microwaves, comprising: - a frame (15), - conveying means for transferring the waste in a sealed manner with respect to the microwaves associated with microwave heating means that are designed to treat the waste conveyed by the conveying means, characterized in that said conveying means comprise a chamber, which is sealed with respect to microwaves, which is disposed horizontally or approximately horizontally and which is at least partially mobile with respect to said frame (15), elastic means (16, 17) connecting said at least one mobile part of the chamber to the frame, and also a vibration generator (12, 13) able to transmit a vibrational movement to said at least one mobile part of the chamber in order to ensure the transfer of the waste (9) by way of vibrations from an inlet (10) for the waste into said chamber towards an outlet (22) for the waste from said chamber, said microwave heating means being arranged outside the chamber in order to treat the waste in said chamber which is sealed with respect to microwaves. The device allows in particular the decontamination of medical waste.
