A powder spray device includes a funnel member, a first three-way joint, an air-current supply tube, a discharge tube, a vibration motor, a bypass air-current tube, and a switching mechanism. The first three-way joint has a first opening connected to an outlet at a lower end of the funnel member. The air-current supply tube and discharge tube are respectively connected to second and third openings of the first three-way joint. The vibration motor is fixed onto an outer surface of a funnel body of the funnel member. The bypass air-current tube branches off from the air-current supply tube and is connected to the discharge tube. The switching mechanism switches from and to standby state, in which compressed gas is sent only through the bypass air-current tube, to and from spray-coating state, in which compressed gas is sent out through the air-current supply tube, and also through the bypass air-current tube.

Abstract

The present invention provides a sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material and a method for producing the same, wherein the sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material is configured as follows in order to achieve an excellent tissue-reinforcing effect and excellent handling properties without needing to use fibrinogen or clotting performance derived from a patient. This sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material includes a base-material sheet that is biodegradable and has a communicated porous structure, and an adhesive agent resin layer formed by being secured on the base-material sheet. The adhesive agent resin layer includes a first reactant including aldehydated glycan, and a second reactant including partial carboxylated polylysine, and has: a granular structure derived from a powder of the first reactant; and a connection layer derived from the second reactant, the connection layer being anchored to the base-material sheet and being mutually connected to the granular structure. A mixed powder of a two-reactant adhesive agent comprising the powder of the first reactant and a powder of the second reactant is used in order to produce the sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material. For example, the mixed powder is dispersed in ethanol having a water content of less than 1%, and a dispersion liquid thereof is applied to the base-material sheet and then dried.

Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To provide a self-degradable adhesive for medical use which ensures sufficient adhesion even at a site with oozing of a large amount of blood or another body fluid, in particular, ensures adhesion without any problem even in the case where such a site is located vertically. To provide an adhesive for medical use which is excellent in the ability to cover a pinhole. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An aldehyde-groups-introduced α-glucan powder having a weight-average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 200,000 is employed as a first reactant, while an aqueous solution containing an amino groups-containing polymer that is composed of a polymer chain of amino group-containing units or a powder thereof is employed as a second reactaint. The weight-average molecular weight of the above-described amino groups-containing polymer is from 1,000 to 20,000. When the first and second reactants as described above are mixed together, the resultant mixture has a pH value of from 5.0 to 8.0.
