Abstract
The current disclosure relates to the design of an apparatus for enhancing the operation and reliability of high-power multi-chip modules. The disclosed apparatus provides near-complete elimination of high frequency spectral content, while leaving the desired frequency range (1-100 kHz) of the module unaffected. In addition to the suppression of this undesirable high-frequency content, the disclosed apparatus also provides for accurate, galvanically-isolated, high-bandwidth, real-time current measurement, which is essential for some types of power electronics converters. Prior to the disclosure of this apparatus, these two features (ringing suppression and current measurement) have required physically-separate circuits for implementation, which increases the size, weight, and cost of the final implementation. The apparatus disclosed here provides both of these features in simple circuit topology that can be implemented compactly inside the geometry of a multi-chip power module.

Abstract
Methods and systems for characterization of batteries and other storage devices that may be new or second use. The systems charge and discharge the storage devices to measure capacity, charge and discharge current and voltage curves, impedance, and/or temperature variations, among others. During charging of one storage device, energy is dissipated from another storage device, and vice versa. As such, the power that is consumed from the grid by each storage device and/or dissipated through a load is greatly reduced providing increased efficiency.

Abstract
An apparatus for sensing a target analyte includes a sensing material of a baseline composition. The sensing material is in electrical communication with an alternating energy input across the sensing material at a first frequency. The sensing material is configured to be placed within an environment such that an exposed state is in communication with a concentration of a target analyte proximate the sensing material, and wherein the target analyte changes at least one compositional property of the baseline composition. An impedance detection device is connected to a sensing circuit and receives an output from the sensing material, the output exhibiting a respective impedance value of the sensing material corresponding to the input for the first frequency. The respective impedance value is dependent upon the concentration of the target analyte in the environment and the first frequency.

Abstract
Disclosed herein are matrix-free and in vivo-like glioblastoma organoids (GBOs) developed using patient-derived xenograft GBM lines in small-scale bioreactors and a method of scalable biomanufacture thereof. Shear stress, agitation rate, and media supplements can be optimized to produce highly reproducible GBOs over 1 mm diameter within 4-5 weeks. GBOs can exhibit high stemness and strong cell-to-cell interactions compared to conventional tumorsphere cultures. They can display spatial gradients of HIF-1α positive hypoxic cores where CD133-positive cells resided and spatially heterogeneous expression of NOTCH and its ligands. A self-established, hierarchically organized, and heterogeneous TME by GBM transdifferentiation into endothelial cells, pericytes, and astrocytes can also be observed. Collectively, the ability to biomanufacture uniformly sized GBOs that recapitulate in vivo GBM TME features that can serve as an improved GBM in vitro model is demonstrated herein.

Abstract
The current disclosure relates to the design of an apparatus for enhancing the operation and reliability of high-power multi-chip modules, which are used in the design and implementation of power electronics converters. This apparatus is especially useful for modules containing recently-commercialized, high-performance wide band-gap semiconductors such as Silicon Carbide (SiC), which commonly emit undesirable high-frequency ringing and oscillation in the “Near-RF” spectral band between 1-30 MHz. The disclosed apparatus provides near-complete elimination of this high frequency spectral content, while leaving the desired frequency range (1-100 kHz) of the module unaffected.

Abstract
A system for improving radiation tolerance of memory senses an amount of radiation exposure and, based on the sensed amount of radiation exposure, determines whether to perform one or more techniques for mitigating the effects of the radiation exposure. As an example, the system may perform a data refresh operation by re-writing data that has been corrupted by radiation, or the system may adjust the reference voltage used to read memory cells. In another example, the system may perform a fault repair operation by re-programming cells that have erroneously transitioned from a program state to an erase state. The system may selectively perform different radiation-mitigation techniques in a tiered approach based on the sensed amount of radiation in order to limit the adverse effects of the more invasive techniques.

Abstract
Various implementations include a six-phase electric motor including an annular stator and a rotor. The stator defines an opening having an inner surface. First and second three-phase sets of concentrated windings are circumferentially spaced along the inner surface of the opening. The first and second sets of concentrated windings are circumferentially offset from each other. The stator defines voids located radially outwardly from, and circumferentially between, each of the windings. The rotor includes permanent magnets circumferentially spaced around the rotor axis. The outer circumferential surface of the rotor defines grooves located circumferentially between each of the permanent magnets. The rotor is disposed within the stator opening such that the stator and rotor are coincident with each other. Flux from the permanent magnets interacts with a stator magnetic field created by a current flowing through the first and second sets of concentrated windings to cause the rotor to rotate.

Abstract
An ultra-wideband dual-polarized tightly coupled bowtie antenna array for ground-based polar ice sounding radar is described. The antenna array has a very large effective aperture to increase the directivity. At the same time, it is lightweight and low profile to minimize the payload and maximize the survey range. In an implementation, the antenna array operates between 180-620 MHz with a fractional bandwidth of 3.4:1. The broadband performance benefits from the tightly coupled antenna elements. A feature of the antenna array is the planar feeding structure without balun. The antenna array element has the microstrip feeding line integrated with one arm of the bowtie antenna. The other arm is directly fed by the microstrip line. By adding a ferrite core around the coax cable for common mode suppression, the bowtie antenna element can be fed differentially without using bulky vertical feeding structure and balun.
