Abstract

A method, system and non-transitory computer readable storage medium for managing engagement and presentation of electronic documents is described herein. In an implementation, the method comprises receiving a registration request, with a nickname for a child and without personally identifying information for the child, from a parent account to set up a nicknamed child account; enabling resource access via the nicknamed child account on a device; receiving an e-book request from the parent account to assign one or more e-books to the nicknamed child account; assigning the one or more e-books to the device based on the nicknamed child account and authorizing the device to display content of the one or more e-books to the child; and receiving and tracking activity data for the child and the assigned one or more e-books.

Abstract

A method for managing engagement and presentation content of an electronic document involves providing container metadata identifying engagement containers within the electronic document, providing engagement data linked to the engagement containers, the engagement data comprising parameters of an engagement based on the segments of content in the linked engagement containers, executing a procedure to traverse engagement containers identified in the container metadata. The procedure includes accepting, based on user input, data responsive to the engagement, and assigning a score for the current engagement container based on the received data and the parameters defined in the engagement metadata.

Abstract

The technology teaches a distributed gaming system, comprising a server-side node configured to administer transactions for a gambling casino, selling and redeeming chips using a private database, and recording transactions on a distributed ledger using crypto-tokens for a house account, with a token vault wallet that has a unique identifier and private key to track transactions. Customer wallets, intermediary accounts and one-way redemption wallets track transactions on the distributed ledger. Client-side nodes accept token purchase messages and transfer tokens in the ledger and record in the database, accept token-to-chip messages from an intermediary account and transfer tokens on the ledger to the redemption wallet to extinguish and record the exchange, accept chip-to-token messages from an intermediary account and transfer tokens from the vault to the customer account and record the exchange, and accept token-to-fiat messages from an intermediary account and transfer tokens to extinguish, and record the exchange.

Abstract

A method for managing engagement and presentation of electronic document(s) involves receiving input of a verification code of a client user whose anonymity is preserved, sending a login request to log the client user into a client account that is under supervision of a supervisory user, receiving authorized access for the client user in response the request, retrieving from the account electronic documents made available by the supervisory user, receiving an indication of assignment of a selection of a particular electronic document to the client user, providing content from the electronic documents assigned to the client user, monitoring progress of the client user in the particular electronic document, and triggering rewards based upon progress of the client user.
