A multi-part articulated arm and method for tensioning a multi-part articulated arm of an awning are provided. At least one first arm link and a second arm link are connected to one another in an articulated manner by an arm joint. A spring is connected to the first arm link and then guided along the articulated arm, around or through the arm joint, to the second arm link, whereupon the spring device is tensioned by a tensioning device and then connected to the second arm link, so that the multi-part articulated arm is pre-tensioned into an extended position by the spring. Prior to tensioning, the spring device is connected to a holding part and the tensioning device is then brought into engagement with the holding part, whereupon the holding part is subjected to a tensile force and then fitted in behind at least one protrusion of the second arm link.
The invention relates to an awning having a rotatably mounted fabric roller, an awning fabric, a drop arm and at least one driven multi-member telescopic arm. The awning fabric is connected to the fabric roller in the region of an inner fabric edge and to the drop arm in the region of an opposite outer fabric edge. The drop arm can be adjusted by means of the telescopic arm between a retracted position and an extended position. Each telescopic arm has at least two arm members and on the telescopic arm and/or on the drop arm, an electric consumer is arranged which is connected to an electric voltage source via an electric current line. According to the invention, the electric current line extends at least in portions within the telescopic arm and a guide device is formed in the telescopic arm, by means of which guide device the electric current line is laterally guided.
An awning has a rotatably mounted fabric roller, an awning fabric, a drop bar and at least one driven, multi-segment telescopic arm, wherein the awning fabric is connected to the fabric roller in the region of an inner fabric edge and to the drop bar in the region of an opposite outer fabric edge. The drop bar is adjustable by means of the telescopic arm between a retracted position, in which the awning fabric is wound onto the fabric roller, and an extended position, in which the awning fabric is stretched out. The telescopic arm has at least two arm segments, wherein a first arm segment is designed at least in portions as an accommodating hollow profile into which a second arm segment can be inserted such that it is adjustable relative to the first arm segment in the longitudinal direction of the telescopic arm. Between an inner wall of the first arm segment and an outer wall of the second arm segment, at least one sliding part is arranged, which has at least one locking finger that is formed integrally with the sliding part and that carries a locking projection which engages in a locking recess of the first arm segment or the second arm segment such that the sliding part is locked to the first arm segment or the second arm segment.
A sun screen device (1) has a rotatably mounted fabric shaft (3) and an awning fabric (4) which can be rolled up onto the fabric shaft (3) and unrolled from the fabric shaft (3), wherein the fabric shaft (3) is provided for mounting in a niche (5) of a building, and wherein a lead bar (6) is arranged on a front edge of the awning fabric (4). According to the invention, at least one receiving part (7) is provided for mounting in the niche (5), preferably in operative connection with the fabric shaft (3) or with a holder (9) for the fabric shaft (3), and a protrusion part (10) is arranged or integrally formed on the lead bar (6) on a rear side of the lead bar (6) which faces the building, the receiving part (7) having a recess (8) which faces the lead bar (6) and the protrusion part (10) having a protrusion (11) which is shaped complementarily to the recess (8) at least in some sections, or vice versa, and which engages in the recess (8) when the awning fabric (4) is in a rolled-up state, and the mounted receiving part (7) being adjustable relative to a position of the fabric shaft (3) and/or the protrusion part (10) being adjustable relative to the lead bar (6).
A canvas shaft holder for an awning having a canvas shaft, on which an awning canvas can be wound. At least one shaft end piece is provided, which is inserted into the canvas shaft in an axial end region thereof, the shaft end piece being connected to the canvas shaft in a force-fitting manner. A pressing part, which is inserted axially into the canvas shaft, is movable relative to the shaft end piece and/or to the canvas shaft in the axial direction of the canvas shaft between a clamping position and a release position. In the clamping position, a radial pressing force is exerted on the shaft end piece. The canvas shaft holder has at least one clamping bar which is guided through the pressing part and the shaft end piece and via which the pressing part is movable from the release position into the clamping position.
An awning comprising a fabric roller, a fabric, and a drop arm. The fabric is connected to the fabric roller in the region of an inner fabric edge and to the drop arm in the region of an opposite outer fabric edge. The drop arm can be adjusted via a drive device between a fully retracted minimum position P0, in which the fabric is wound as tightly as possible on the fabric roller, and a fully extended maximum position, in which the fabric has the widest possible span. The drop arm is moved between the minimum position and the maximum position along a curved path of movement, wherein a distance to a reference plane in the maximum position is at least 8.0 times as great as a distance from the reference plane in a position extended by 50% along the reference path.
An awning that has a support device, a cloth shaft, a cloth, a lead bar and a drive device. The lead bar can be adjusted via the drive device between a fully retracted minimum position and a completely extended maximum position. The drive device has at least one first arm link which, at its inner end facing the cloth shaft, is mounted via a joint device so as to pivot about a pivot axis. The joint device is designed such that an inclination of the pivot axis relative to the vertical changes depending on the pivoting movement of the first arm link and depending on the distance of the lead bar from the cloth shaft.
