An air release valve (10) includes a housing (11) fluidly connectable to a water line, a valve seat (12) secured to a portion of the housing (11) and formed with one or more air exit passageways (14), a seal (18) formed as a spring disc and including a stem (28) slidingly engaged with the valve seat (12), and a weight (20) coupled to the seal (18). In a sealed configuration the seal (18) presses against the valve seat (12) and seals the one or more air exit passageways (14) from air passing therethrough and in an open configuration the seal (18) is moved by the weight (20) so that the seal (18) is not pressed against the valve seat (12) and allows passage of air through the one or more air exit passageways (14).
An air valve assembly (10) includes a main housing (12) including a coupling flange (14) for coupling to a pipe, and an air valve (20) fluidly coupled to the main housing (12). An actuator (28) is in fluid communication with the air valve (20) and a discharge tube (40). A non-contact liquid level sensor (30) is located in an external housing coupled to the main housing (12). The non-contact liquid level sensor (30) is in operative communication with the actuator (28).

Coupler assembly that compensates for misalignment
A coupler assembly includes a fluid fitting formed with a first bore at one end thereof and a second bore at an opposite end thereof, both of the bores being formed with female threads. A fluid adaptor includes a neck portion ending in a terminal portion larger in diameter than the neck portion. A fitting ring secures the fluid adaptor to the fitting. The fitting ring includes a split ring that fits over the terminal portion. The fitting ring is formed with a male thread, which mates with the female thread of the second bore of the fitting. The fitting ring has a first inner portion with a flat annular shape and a second inner portion with a curved annular shape.
F16L 27/04 - Universal joints, i.e. with mechanical connection allowing angular movement or adjustment of the axes of the parts in any direction with partly-spherical engaging surfaces
F16L 37/091 - Couplings of the quick-acting type in which the connection between abutting or axially-overlapping ends is maintained by locking members combined with automatic locking by means of a ring provided with teeth or fingers
F16L 21/08 - Joints with sleeve or socket with additional locking means
A valve assembly includes a valve installed in a fluid/liquid supply line, and a water circulation pipe that has a first end in fluid communication with a water supply line and a second end in fluid communication with an inner volume of the valve. Some water flowing in the water supply line is diverted through the water circulation pipe and circulates in the valve. The water that is diverted through the water circulation pipe and circulates in the valve has a sufficient flow to prevent freezing and/or water stagnation in the valve.
A valve assembly (10) includes a valve (12) to be installed in a fluid/liquid supply line (14), and a water circulation pipe (16) that in use has a first end in fluid communication with a water supply line and a second end in fluid communication with an inner volume of the valve. In use, some water flowing in the water supply line is diverted through the water circulation pipe and circulates in the valve. The water that is diverted through the water circulation pipe and circulates in the valve has a sufficient flow to prevent freezing and/or water stagnation in the valve.
A valve assembly includes a valve (20) with an annular seal installed therein. The annular seal includes an inner sealing member (12) formed with an annular channel (18) with an open end that faces downwards. The inner sealing member (12) and the annular channel (18) define an annular flap (15) with an outer wall (17), which is an inner wall (17) of the annular channel (18). A floating member (22) is arranged to float up and rise with a water level present in a portion of the valve (20) and press against the annular seal.
