Abstract

Provided is a biostable radiopaque substance that is absorbed within living tissue or inflammatory lesion in living tissue and uses thereof. The radiopaque substance does not cause an inflammatory reaction in surrounding tissue and is rapidly absorbed before healing occurs, thereby not interfering with healing and regeneration of damaged tissue. Therefore, the radiopaque substance of the present disclosure can be included in a biotransplantation material, for example, a root canal filling material for endodontic treatment, and be effectively used.

Abstract

The present invention relates to biostable radiopaque substances and a use thereof, the biostable radiopaque substances being absorbed in an inflammatory lesion of biological tissue or in vivo tissue. The radiopaque substances, according to the present invention, do not induce an inflammatory response in surrounding tissue and are rapidly absorbed before healing occurs and thus do not interfere with the healing and regeneration of damaged tissue. Thus, the radiopaque substances of the present invention may be usefully employed by being included in biological graft material, for example, endodontic filling material for root canal treatment.

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a medical cement composition containing calcium silicate in an amount of less than 20 wt % of a total weight of the composition, with a lithium salt being added thereto. The medical cement composition of the present disclosure has a low compressive strength of 12 MPa or less, after being hardened, for easy removal, excellent stability in storage, and high bioactivity.

Abstract

Disclosed is a medical filler composition, which is loaded in a space which is empty due to the removal of nerves, blood vessels, soft tissues and hard tissues therefrom and which is also bio- compatible, highly bioactive and biochemically stable and has high workability and sealing ability, including a calcium supply source including at least one selected from among calcium hydroxide and calcium oxide, a silicon supply source including at least one selected from fumed silica, precipitated silica, colloidal silica and clay mineral, and 20 to 70 parts by weight of a liquid material for pasting, based on 100 parts by weight of a mixture of the calcium supply source and the silicon supply source, wherein the calcium/silicon molar ratio of calcium silicate hydrate produced by a pozzolanic reaction between the calcium supply source and the silicon supply source is 0.25 to 1.5.
