A pouch handling machine comprises and a series of pouch related process stations. A reciprocating beams conveyor advances pouches intermittently along the stations. The conveyor comprises a left-hand side and a right-hand side elongated reciprocating beams, each provided along the length thereof with pouch retention members. A left-hand side and a right-hand side support member, each support reciprocating beams and form a linear guide of the reciprocating beams. A left-hand side and a right-hand side electromagnetic linear actuator are provided, each being mounted between the respective reciprocating beams and the respective support member to cause an intermittent reciprocating motion of the reciprocating beams in the longitudinal direction thereof. These actuators are linked to an electronic controller that is adapted to synchronize the motions of the actuators. A transverse motion mechanism causes a periodic transverse motion of the left-hand side and a right-hand side support members away from and towards one another.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLEXIBLE CONTAINERS COMPRISING A DISPENSING VALVE
The invention relates to a method for producing flexible containers comprising a dispensing valve, said method including: vertically forming a tubular body (2) by means of vertically displacing and longitudinally folding a heat-sealable film (1); longitudinally welding two vertical ends (11, 12) of the heat-sealable film (1); producing, from the tubular body (2), independent flexible envelopes (3) provided with a closed bottom and an open upper mouth (33), by means of carrying out successive transverse weldings (32) and transverse cuts in said tubular body; and horizontally moving the successive flexible envelopes (3) through a series of working stations wherein the product to be packaged is dosed, a dispensing valve (4) is placed in the upper mouth (33) of the flexible containers (3), and the upper mouth (33) is welded (34), securing the dispensing valve (4).
