Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for attaching/detaching a grinding tool for a grinder that can: allow the grinding tool to be conveniently attached to and detached from a coupler that is coupled to a rotating shaft of a main body constituting a hand grinder to rotate at a high speed; reinforce the adhesion force between the coupler and the grinding tool to prevent shaking thereof while grinding and to ensure stability and continuity of work; and effectively transmit power. The apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises a grinding tool, a coupler, a sleeve, locking balls, a spring, and a cap nut. The grinding tool has a cylindrical shaft, a recess, and a rectangular shaft that are formed in succession on the tip end portion of one side of a body thereof. The coupler has a mounting hole into which the grinding tool is fixedly inserted, a rectangular hole, and a screw hole to which a grinder body is fastened, and has two columns of through-holes and a flange that are formed on the peripheral surface thereof. The sleeve has a lower anti-vibration groove and a mounting groove that are formed on one side of the inner diameter part in a stepped manner and an upper anti-vibration groove formed on an opposite side thereof. The locking balls are accommodated in the through-holes formed in the coupler and are configured to move to the cylindrical shaft and the recess of the grinding tool to lock or unlock the grinding tool when the sleeve moves. The spring applies a resilient force to the sleeve when the sleeve slides. The cap nut is configured to regulate the location where the sleeve is assembled.
