G01F 11/00 - Apparatus requiring external operation adapted at each repeated and identical operation to measure and separate a predetermined volume of fluid or fluent solid material from a supply or container, without regard to weight, and to deliver it
A compressed coreless rolled product is described, including an inner surface defining a central cavity having an inner diameter and an outer surface having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter. The outer diameter is at least five inches and a ratio of the inner diameter to the outer diameter is at least 0.35. Also described is a compressed coreless rolled product with similar inner and outer surfaces, wherein: a difference between the outer diameter and the inner diameter defining a thickness of at least 2.9 inches; and a ratio of the inner diameter to the outer diameter is at least 0.35. An associated method of producing the product is also described, including steps of: winding an absorbent sheet around a forming core member; removing the forming core member to form a coreless rolled product with a diameter ratio of at least 0.35; and compressing the product.

Packaging material formed from a substrate and three coating layers or in some instances at least three coating layers, each coating including an aqueous polymeric solution or dispersion dried to form a continuous film such that the packaging material is provided with tailored performance attributes including desired moisture vapor transmission rates, oxygen permeation rates, oil and grease resistance peel strength. The materials forming the packaging material may be compostable or biodegradable.

B32B 27/10 - Layered products essentially comprising synthetic resin as the main or only constituent of a layer next to another layer of a specific substance of paper or cardboard
D21H 23/76 - Processes or apparatus for adding material to the pulp or to the paper characterised by choice of auxiliary compounds which are added separately from at least one other compound, e.g. to improve the incorporation of the latter or to obtain an enhanced combined effect
A compostable laminate for food wrap and method for making same. The wrap can include a first layer of paper material, a second layer of paper material, and a series of coatings between the paper materials. The coatings include a first flood coating having water and/or barrier properties, a second flood coating having water and/or oil barrier properties, and a third coating that only partially covers the second flood coating. None of the first, second and third coatings comprise a thermoplastic or polyolefin, and are made substantially from one or more biodegradable and/or compostable materials.
