An impact absorbing and resistant bumper (10) comprising: an elongated body comprised of at least two extruded or molded layers (10, 12) of polymeric materials, the elongated strip having a longitudinal axis and being resistant to impact, the elongated strip comprising: a first body layer (12) comprised of a first polymeric material having a first selected degree of hardness; a second layer (12) of a second polymeric material having a second degree of hardness; the first body layer (12) being extruded or molded such that it has a configuration taken along a section transverse or radial to the longitudinal axis that comprises a center aperture (16) and a pair of recesses (18) laterally adjacent the center aperture (16) and extending along and through the longitudinal length of the elongated body.

An electrical power distribution system (10), the system comprising: a housing comprising a mounting wall (30) having a front side (40), a rear side (50) and a plurality of apertures (42) arranged in a select pattern; a power delivery member (80) mounted on the rear side of the housing, the power delivery member including power delivery contacts (84, 86) and a ground contact (88) aligned with the plurality of apertures in the mounting wall and arranged on the power delivery member in a select arrangement for powering one or more electrically powered devices (20); each electrically powered device including complementary mating contacts (94, 96, 98) projecting from the electrically powered device in an arrangement that is complementary to the select arrangement of the power delivery and ground contacts of the power delivery member; wherein the select arrangement of the power delivery contacts and the ground contact of the electrical power delivery member is selected such that the ground contact of the power delivery member engages with a complementary mating contact of the electrically powered device before the power delivery contacts of the power delivery member engage with a complementary mating contact of the electrically powered device during the course of the electrically powered device being mounted on the front side of the mounting wall.
