The device (1), which serves for processing, in particular cutting and spraying, at least one processable product, in particular a foodstuff (8), comprises at least one blade (11) which can be connected to an ultrasound source via at least one coupling element (12) and an energy converter (13) and is fastened to a blade holder (2) which is connected to a drive device (4) held by a framework (6). According to the invention, the drive device (4) comprises a plurality of actuators (41,…, 46) which, on the one hand, are in each case connected to the blade holder (2) via a first rotary joint (31;…; 37) and which, on the other hand, are in each case connected to the framework via a second rotary joint (51;…; 57) in such a way that the blade holder (2) is held by the actuators (41,…, 46) alone and is displaceable and, if appropriate, rotatable within a work volume.

The device (1), which is used for cutting an item for processing, in particular a food item (8), comprises at least one cutting tool in the form of a blade (11) which is connected both to a drive device (12) and, via a coupling element (15) and an energy converter (14), to an ultrasonic generator (13). According to the invention, the coupling element (15) and the energy converter (14), optionally also the ultrasonic generator (13), are mounted in such a way as to be able to rotate, and the blade (11), which can be subjected to ultrasonic energy, can therefore rotate.
A cutter that is used for dividing a processed product using ultrasound energy.
