Abstract

A bicycle seatpost and an associated mounting assembly are disclosed. The seatpost includes a seat tube having a head portion defining two cavities and a linking channel extending therebetween in a radial direction. The head portion further defines two annular walls respectively surrounding and bounding the cavities. The mounting assembly comprises two detent assemblies, two saddle clamps, and a fastening assembly. Each detent assembly is disposed in a respective cavity and engages the corresponding annular wall to restrict rotation. Each saddle clamp clamps a saddle rail of a bicycle saddle and includes a compression member that radially presses the detent assembly, with rotation of the saddle clamp constrained by the detent assembly to fix the pitch orientation of the saddle. The fastening assembly extends through the cavities and linking channel to couple the detent assemblies and saddle clamps, thereby integrating the mounting assembly with the seat tube.

Abstract

A handlebar stabilizer adapted to be disposed on a vehicle frame is provided. The vehicle frame includes a steerer tube and a head tube. The steerer tube and the head tube are disposed coaxially. The head tube is sleeved on the steerer tube. The handlebar stabilizer includes a rotating member, a cover, and a shock absorbing assembly. The rotating member is sleeved on and linked with the steerer tube. An outer edge is formed on the circumference of the rotating member. The cover is sleeved on the rotating member and linked with the head tube. The shock absorbing assembly is disposed around the rotating member and includes at least one outwardly extending section and at least one fixed section. The fixed section is fixed to the cover. When the outer edge abuts against the outwardly extending section, the outwardly extending section extends outwardly in the radial direction.

Abstract

A quick release device includes an axle tube, a pressing unit, and a driving unit. The axle tube extends through a bicycle frame, and has a plurality of through holes. The pressing unit includes a plurality of pressing members disposed respectively and movably within the through holes in the axle tube, and a pushing member movable axially in the axle tube. The driving unit includes a movable shaft. When the driving unit is changed to a locking state, the movable shaft moves the pushing member such that the pushing member pushes and moves the pressing member to press against the bicycle frame. When the driving unit is changed to a release state, the movable shaft moves the pushing member away from the pressing members to allow the pressing members to move radially away from the bicycle frame.

Abstract

A shock-absorbing bicycle frame includes a front frame, a rear frame, and a shock-absorbing unit. The rear frame includes a seat stay and a chain stay interconnected to form an angle therebetween. The shock-absorbing unit includes a first flexible member connected removably to the chain stay and the front frame, and a second flexible member connected between the chain stay and the front frame and disposed directly above the first flexible member. The first and second flexible members are deformable in first and second directions, respectively. The first direction intersects the second direction. As such, when subjected to an external force, the first and second flexible members are deformed to absorb shock.
