The present invention makes it possible to efficiently modify or improve, using a simple device and low energy consumption, the physical properties of various kinds of substances by exposing a substance to be processed, such as a material, animal, fiber, plant, fish, soil, or metal, to n a variable electric field. The present invention is composed of: a power supply device that comprises an alternating current power supply having a grounded terminal, and an LC resonant circuit that is connected in series to the other, non-ground-side output terminal of the alternating current power supply, wherein said other terminal of the LC resonant circuit is used as an output terminal, and a superimposed wave (vo) of the output voltage (v) of the alternating current power supply and the induced electromotive force (v') that is induced to the LC resonant circuit by an external electromagnetic wave is output; and an electrode plate made from a conductor, said electrode plate being connected to the output terminal of the power supply device via a lead wire and being affixed by contact to the substance to be processed or affixed near the substance to be processed. The present invention makes it possible to prevent the oxidation of an edible oil efficiently and at low cost, using a simple device and low energy consumption. The present invention makes it possible to prevent oxidation of edible oil in a metal container by: using a power supply device that is provided with an alternating current power supply in which one output terminal is grounded, and is provided with a rectifying element that has one end connected in series to the non-grounded output terminal of the alternating current power supply and blocks discharge of the current from the non-grounded output terminal; connecting an electrode plate made from a conductor to the non-grounded output terminal of the power supply device; immersing the electrode plate made from a conductor directly in an edible oil inside a metal container or disposing the electrode plate on the outer surface of the metal container; and applying, through the application of the alternating current power supply, a negative potential variation to the electrode plate made from a conductor in order to generate an electric field variation.
The present invention uses a simple device to improve, with high efficiency and little energy consumption, the quality and physical properties of all sorts of substances, such as water, liquid fuel, animals, fibres, plants, fish, soil, and metal, by adding electrons thereto. In the present invention, a power supply device is employed which is provided with: an AC power supply having one output terminal thereof grounded; and a rectification element which has one terminal thereof connected in series to an ungrounded-side output terminal of the AC power supply, and which inhibits the discharge of current from the AC power supply. A lead is used to connect, to another terminal of the rectification element of the power supply device, a support body made of a conductive material. A substance to be treated is disposed on top of or in the vicinity of the support body made of the conductive material. As a result of the output of the AC power supply of the power supply device, a negative variation potential is generated in the support body made of the conductive material, and electrons are added to the substance to be treated disposed on top of or in the vicinity of the support body made of the conductive material.
The present invention provides a medical device which is small in size, low cost, and easy to handle, and which enables muscle stiffness and pain, cuts, and neoplasms or the like of a living being such as a human to be healed swiftly and safely. The present invention is configured from: a power supply device which comprises an AC power supply having one output terminal thereof grounded, and an LC parallel circuit connected in series to another output terminal of the AC power supply at an ungrounded side, and in which another terminal of the LC parallel circuit is used as an output terminal to output superimposed waves (vo) of the output voltage (v) of the AC power supply and an induced electromotive force (v') induced in the LC parallel circuit by an external electromagnetic wave; and an electrode plate which is made of a conductive material, which is connected to the output terminal of the power supply device by a lead, and which is secured in contact with an affected area of a living being or disposed in the vicinity of the living being. A variation potential is generated in the electrode plate made of the conductive material, by the AC output voltage of the power supply device, and tissue in the affected area of the living being is activated to hasten healing.

A medical sheet material is positioned upon the upper part of the far-infrared radiator layer of the conductive electrode plate, either directly or with a gap therebetween. A fluctuating electrical field is generated in the conductive electrode plate by outputting the superpositioned wave (vo) from the output terminal of the power source device to the conductive electrode plate, the medical sheet material overall is located within the fluctuating electrical field, and the medical sheet material overall is activated.
