Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and a method of manufacturing a feed product for farmed animals in an aquaculture environment, including but not limited to fish, shrimps, and crabs. The method of manufacturing the aquaculture feed comprising the steps of providing and contacting water, a fatty acid component, a protein source, and a feed stabiliser, and a suspension is formed. The feed stabiliser has a setting condition represented by a setting component. The feed stabiliser is contacted with the water at an activation condition, and the concentration of the setting component in the shaped suspension is increased to the setting condition of the feed stabiliser to obtain the aquaculture feed.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and a method of manufacturing and preparing feed as well as a feed product for farmed animals in an aquaculture environment, including but not limited to fish, shrimps, and crabs. The method of manufacturing the aquaculture feed includes the steps of providing water, a fatty acid component, a protein source, and a feed stabiliser. The feed stabiliser is contacted with the fatty acid component. The feed stabiliser is contacted with the water. The feed stabiliser and water is heated. The feed stabiliser, the fatty acid component, the protein source, and the water is mixed and shaped into a dough. The dough is cooled to obtain the aquaculture feed.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a method of raising fish in a recirculated aquaculture system (RAS), the RAS comprising a fish holding unit (2) in fluid communication with a water supply (3), the fish holding unit containing a volume of water defining a water depth, the water having an osmotic concentration, an oxygen concentration, a temperature, and a pH, the method comprising the steps of: providing a flow of non-recirculated water to the water supply, the non-recirculated water being different from the water in the fish holding unit with respect to at least one of the osmotic concentration, the oxygen concentration, the CO2 concentration, the N2 concentration, the NH4 + concentration, the temperature and the pH, providing feed pellets (31), adding the feed pellets to the non- recirculated water and hydraulically transporting the feed pellets to the fish holding unit. The method allows a more efficient operation of a RAS facility. The invention also relates to a RAS facility.

Abstract
An aquaculture system comprising a fish holding unit (2) which is fluidly connected to a water recirculation conduit (3), a water treatment unit (23), a water inlet (22), and a feed storage unit (31). The system further comprising a feed loading section (30). When feed is added into the system at the feed loading section it is transported to the fish holding unit. In another aspect the invention relates to a method of transporting a feed in a recirculated aquaculture system.
