FEED SUPPLEMENT BASED ON MILK THISTLE, METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION AND ITS USE
This is a feed supplement suitable, in particular, for feeding animals, wherein it contains the whole and/or treated fruits of Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum (L.) GAERTNER) and 5 % to 15 % by weight of oil from the seeds of Milk Thistle treated by conjugation of double bonds, relative to weight of fruits of Milk Thistle. The method of producing this feed supplement and its use are also disclosed.
This is a feed supplement suitable, in particular, for feeding animals, wherein it contains the whole and/or treated fruits of Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum (L.) GAERTNER) and 10 % to 35 % by weight of crushed and/or milled and/or pressed parts of at least one additional plant species, optionally chosen from the group comprising the genus Dragonhead, Leuzea, Amaranth and Clintonia, relatively to weight of the fruits of Milk Thistle. The method of producing this feed supplement and its use are also disclosed.
