Abstract

A liquid trap assembly typically a waste trap assembly (10) which is connected to a drain pipe (13), the trap assembly (10) having a liquid or water seal (18) therein through which waste liquid can flow in use and a one-way valve (29) which provides communication in one direction between the upstream side of the water seal (18) and drain pipe (13), the valve (29) preventing communication in the opposite direction to prevent odours escaping from the drain pipe (13).
