Abstract

The invention relates to a method for monitoring partial discharges in voltage distribution elements (4), both online and offline, of a high-voltage electrical power distribution network (2) provided with distribution elements (4). The method is performed using at least one measurement device (13, 14) and at least one device for the generation and injection of pulses of a pre-determined charge (1), such that, in a first step, the voltage of the distribution network (2) is tracked and, in a second step, by means of the generation and injection of a pulse having a pre-determined charge that is synchronised with the voltage of the network (2), the measurements of partial discharges are quantified using the measurement device (13, 14), independently of the configuration or topology of the distribution network (2). In turn, multiple measurement devices (13, 14) can be synchronised. This monitoring method can be used for the remote monitoring of the distribution network (2) as well as the remote management of the units (3, 3', 3") thereof.
