Disclosed is a device and a method for pressure-packaging a container to be processed, which is sealed by a stopper, the device including a cap with a needle, a fluid injector, and a heating cannula, the cap being designed to be applied to the stopper in a tight manner, the needle being able to move so as to pierce a hole through the stopper, the cannula being able to move so as to close the hole by the melting of the material of the stopper, the needle and the cannula being arranged such that the axes of movement thereof are secant at a point located in the stopper, the end of the cannula being convex.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for pressure-packaging a container to be processed (2), which is sealed by a stopper (3) arranged above a head space (13) of the container (2), said method comprising: applying a cap (4) over the stopper (3) in a tight manner, said cap (4) comprising piercing means (5) and closing means (7); piercing a hole (23) through the stopper (3) by lowering the piercing means (5); lifting the piercing means (5) out of the stopper (3); introducing a fluid (24) into the head space (13) via said hole (23); closing said hole (23) by melting the material of the stopper (3) by lowering the means of closing by melting (7); lifting the means of closing by melting (7); and removing the cap (4).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling the pressure in a container with the contents thereof after filling and plugging and particularly to a method for treating a drinking liquid or semi-liquid in a polymer material bottle. Said method is characterized in that it includes the following steps: filling the container, closing said container using plugging means, adding a fluid into the head space through a hole bored through the plugging means so as to obtain a residual pressure greater than atmospheric pressure, and sealing said hole in the plugging means by melting the material of the plugging means.
