Abstract

A sports shoe midsole (1) comprises a body (1) and a cushioning element (3). The body (2), made of polymeric material, has an upper face and a lower face. The body (2) defines at least one through-hole (4) with a side wall connecting the upper face and the lower face. The cross section of the through-hole (4) in the lower face is larger than the cross section of the through-hole (4) in the upper face. The cushioning element (3) is detachably mounted with respect to the body (2). The cushioning element (3) fills the through-hole (4) and bears continuously on the side wall. The cushioning element (3) is arranged in a heel region or a metatarsal region.

Disclosed is a midsole (1) for a sports shoe comprising a body (2) and a shock-absorbing element (3). The body (2) is made of a polymer material and has an upper surface and a lower surface. The body (2) defines at least one through-hole (4) with a side wall connecting the upper surface and the lower surface. The cross-section of the through-hole (4) in the lower surface is larger than the cross-section of the through-hole (4) in the upper surface. The shock-absorbing element (3) is removably mounted relative to the body (2). The shock-absorbing element (3) fills the through-hole (4) and is continuously supported against the side wall. The shock-absorbing element (3) is arranged in a heel zone or in a metatarsal zone.
