Abstract

Described is a composting device for organic waste, comprising a container (2) having a first portion (2a) for inserting organic materials therein and a second portion (2c) for discharging compost, the container (2) also having at the first portion (2a) an aeration outlet (4) which can be connected with the outside environment for introducing at least air inside the first portion (2a) of the container (2), the container (2) also comprising at the second portion (2c) a vent (10) for expelling the gases produced by the organic materials; the composting device also comprises means (6) for moving the organic materials for moving them from the first (2a) to the second portion (2c) of the container (2); the vent (10) is selectively connectable in fluid communication with the aeration outlet (4) for introducing the gases in the first portion (2a) of the container (2). Moreover, the composting device (1) for organic waste also comprises a first filter (18) positioned upstream of the first portion (2a).

Abstract

Abstract

A device for the production of composts comprises a box-like body (2) having an aperture (4) for the introduction of a mass of organic material to be treated, and including a fermentation chamber (10) therein for holding the mass of organic material, and at least one mixer (15) disposed in the fermentation chamber (10) for mixing the mass of organic material during the treatment. The device further comprises at least one photovoltaic solar module (22) located outside the box-like body (2) and operatively connected at least to the mixer (15) to supply it with electric energy.
