Abstract
A device includes a connection receiving power from a power source under normal conditions and circuitry configured to determine, based on an input from the connection, when the power from the power source is absent; output, when the power source is absent, a test signal at the connection; and generate a detection signal based on current flow generated following the output of the test signal, wherein the detection signal indicates a position of a switch connecting the circuitry to the connection and the generated detection signal indicates the switch is closed when the current flow is above a threshold. The circuitry is configured such that when the power from the power source is absent, the switch is closed, and plural devices are connected on the supply side of the switch, the plurality of devices on the supply side appear as a substantially open circuit to the test signal.

Abstract

Abstract
An intelligent LED light bulb, comprising a light bulb cap (1), a light bulb housing (2), and a light bulb cover (3). The light bulb housing (2) has arranged therein an LED circuit board (4), a power supply switch circuit board (5), a rechargeable battery (6) and a battery base (7) capable of accommodating the rechargeable battery (6). The power supply switch circuit board (5) and the LED circuit board (4) are electrically connected to control the power supply to the LED circuit board (4). The LED light bulb also comprises a switch (8) controlling the switching on or off of LEDs on the LED circuit board (4). The switch (8) and the power supply switch circuit board (5) are electrically connected. The LED can serve as an ordinary lighting when power is present, and can serve as an emergency lighting in case of a power disconnection by utilizing the rechargeable battery (6) for power supply. In addition, the LEDs on the LED circuit board (4) are controlled by means of the power supply switch circuit board (5), the turning on, delayed switching on or switching off of the LED light bulb are controlled on the basis of light bulb on/off states as controlled by the switch (8) and of power connection/disconnection of a line, thus implementing intelligent lighting.

Abstract
A detection and control circuit of a power supply system, comprising a power supply management circuit (102), where the power supply management circuit provides power to a lighting (107) via a lighting driver circuit (103), also comprising a main controller circuit (101), where an input end of the main controller circuit is connected to a switch detection circuit (104) that detects the work state of a switch of the power supply management module and to a line connection/disconnection detection circuit (105) that detects the line connection/disconnection state of the power supply management circuit, and an output end of the main controller circuit is connected to a lighting working delay and master power supply management circuit (106). The main controller circuit can control the light-on, delayed light-on, or light-off of the lighting on the basis of whether the lighting is switched on or off and of whether the line is connected or disconnected, that is, when the switch is disconnected, the lighting provides extended lighting for a certain amount of time, then shuts off automatically. Upon detection of a line disconnection, that is, a power failure, the lighting can be controlled to be lit up for an extended amount of time to serve as an emergency lighting, thus obviating the need for additional layout of lines and for installation of an emergency lighting. The detection and control circuit of the power supply system simplifies power supply line layout and saves corresponding costs.
