Each storing and metering station includes a stationary part fixed to a frame, a removable part containing a refillable reservoir and has an information memory for storing an identifier of the removable part. A reading device for reading the information memory is functionally assigned to the stationary part. Each information memory contains a memory location for a filling code. Every time the reservoir has been refilled, the filling code is changed at the charging station so that the refilling can be detected by the control device when the information memory is read by the reading device after the removable part has been placed back onto the stationary part of the same or a different storing and metering station.

The present disclosure relates to a method for retrieving medication packages from a pharmacy order-picking device. In modern pharmacy order-picking devices, medication packages are stored for space optimization, which can cause a number of heavy packages to be stored on one shelf, causing the shelf to bend, which may prevent retrieval. In the method according to the disclosure, an operating device (20) is displaced in a displacement position to a predetermined shelf position, at least one medication package (30) on a shelf (11) belonging to the shelf position is moved with a gripping device (22) in the direction of a support (21) and it is then checked whether the at least one medication package (30) has moved fully onto the support (21). To detect a positioning deviation of the control appliance in the horizontal direction, at least one desired value of at least one reference position is made available, the control appliance is brought to a position corresponding to the desired value in the horizontal direction and, when a signal characteristic of a reference position is detected, an actual value of this reference position is determined. The present invention relates to a method for operating a pharmacy order-picking device. In a modern pharmacy order-picking device, smooth and automatic storage and retrieval are essential for the efficiency of the installation. Positioning deviations of a control appliance (20), for example caused by mechanical wear, jeopardize smooth operation of the installation, since a precise positioning needed for storage or retrieval is no longer achieved. Depending on the deviation, automatic correction of the position deviation can be performed.

In a method for triggering an action of a device (for example, outputting a medicine package) authorised by a paper document (e.g. a prescription), wherein the action requires a unique assignment of a signature to the paper document, initially at a first location at which the action is to be executed, the paper document is placed in a receptacle, an application device permanently applies a first unique identifier to the paper document (e.g. printed) and generates an electronic image of the paper document, wherein a second identifier is uniquely assigned to the first identifier, and an electronic document is generated from the electronic image and is linked to the second identifier. An image of the electronic document is then displayed to a second, remote location of a person authorised to sign (e.g. pharmacist) and the electronic document is signed by the authorised person by means of a predefined entry into an input device. The electronic document, which is linked to the second identifier and signed, is then stored in a secure memory. Once this process is complete, the authorised action is executed by the device.
