An apparatus (1) to permit waterproofing of an inner surface (2a) of a channel (2) made by commercial divers features a carriage support unit (3) that is movable along the channel (2), a roller-holding unit for supporting an impermeable material to be applied to the inner surface (2a), a protection unit (5) associated with the roller-holding unit and configured to make a protection area protecting underwater operators from a flow action of fluid that flows in the channel (2) along the longitudinal direction (X); said protection unit (5) is provided with one or more adjustable position shield elements to divert the fluid flow and shield the protection area. In this manner, a compact apparatus is obtained that enables safe and effective waterproofing to be achieved.

The liner consists of a plurality of prefabricated panels, including at least one flexible waterproof membrane, made of geosynthetic material, provided with side anchor bands for anchoring to the ground and with side sealing flaps. The panels that are rolled up into rolls are sequentially unrolled and extended by fixing provisionally along at least one anchor band, by joining simultaneously the flaps of adjoining panels by means of an intermediate zip fastener. Abstract

A method and a device for covering and waterproofing joints between concrete members (12, 14) of hydraulic works, such as dams, canals, hydraulic galleries and reservoirs. A flexible cover strip (17) comprising a flexible waterproofing membrane (21) in elastomeric material having a first elastic modulus (E1), and at least one flexible support layer (23) in synthetic material having a second elastic modulus (E2) greater than the first elastic modulus (E1) for limiting deformation of the impermeable membrane (21), is straddled between the opposite concrete members (12, 14), for example at vertical joints and/or at longitudinal joints of the hydraulic work. The support layer (23) and the waterproofing membrane (21) are transversely folded in a loop and laid down inside and/or outside the joint sealingly fastening the cover strip (17) to the concrete members (12, 14) along the edges thereof. Movements between concrete members (12, 14) of the joint (16) are compensated by a free extension of the folded cover strip (17).
