Abstract

A multi mode centrifugal clutch for two wheelers with gear box transmission, comprising, a rotor ( 1 ); a clutch casing to which the said rotor is rotationally coupled(2); a plurality of Friction drive plates being placed in said clutch casing(5); a presser plate(7); a primary Drive pinion assembled on the said rotor(8); a slider(9); a plurality of friction driven plates assembled on the said slider and(10); a plurality of rollers which are positioned in specifically profiled cavities in said rotor(l 1); The said Multi Mode Centrifugal Clutch, according to this invention, can be manually disengaged during gear shifting and, in the disengaged state when the engine is not running, allows reverse power flow to facilitate kick starting of the engine.

Abstract

A motorized gear shifting mechanism consisting of, a DC motor (27) powered by the vehicle's power source, an electronic unit to control the power supply to the motor, a pair of micro switches - one for upward shift and one for downward shift, conveniently located at the handle bar through which the operator signals the electronic unit to effect upward / downward gear shift; a set of sensors to monitor the gear shift movement and generate a signal for the control unit to switch off the motor driven by the motor and a geared transmission mechanism for connecting the motor with the gear shift linkage of the engine; soft actuation clutch.

Abstract

A semi-monocoque structure for a vehicle preferring a two wheeler comprising load bearing drive assembly, a shell assembly for providing support for driver and pillion seating matching with the drive away assembly maintaining the continuity of vehicle aesthetic and a pair of sheet metal lockable cowls providing cover and safety for engine and other parts. Drive away portion consist of Front End and Rear End where as Front End is basically of sheet metal construction (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) and Rear End is mostly of tubular construction (3.2). A semi-monocoque structure for fitment of two stroke as well as four stroke engine, facilitates use of LPG or CNG tank (3.15) and 2 or 3 stage gas pressure reducer with in the existing shell with minimum insignificant changes.
