The invention relates to an air dome comprising membrane shells made of a textile reinforced plastic film. Said membrane shells are equipped on the entire surface of the underside with flat pockets (12) welded on, adhesively bonded on, sewn on, or riveted on, and lined up in rows, each of which is designed to be open on one side, for the insertion of a multilayer thermally reflecting mat (13). Such mats are hybrid insulating mats having metallzed films or aluminum films reflecting infrared radiation. Such mats can have multiple layers of absorption-reducing air-cushion films to reduce the transmission heat losses. The openings of the pockets can each be closed by a touch and close fastener or zip fastener. A membrane is assembled from strip-like film webs (8), which are equipped along the longitudinal sides thereof with a weatherstrip (5) and are connected to one another by connecting profiles (1) so as to resist tensile force.

The invention relates to an air-supported hall consisting of one or more membrane shells made from a plastic film material. It comprises, on at least one longitudinal or transverse side, a frame structure which is connected to the adjoining membrane material, and at least one transparent ETFE film is incorporated into the frame profile (15-18) so as to form a window facade. It is advantageous for the air-supported hall to consist of one or more membrane shells made of plastic film. The membranes are made as double-layered membranes with an outer and inner membrane, and are divided into strips. The strips can be connected by a weatherstrip along their longitudinal edges to a weatherstrip connecting profile, in a tractive force locking manner. The membrane strips are 3-5 metres wide and extend across the whole of the hall, from the floor on one side to the floor on the other side. Each strip forms a pocket. These advantageously contain surface-covering heat-reflecting mats which are inserted into said pockets, whereupon the membrane strips are welded all the way around. Such mats are hybrid insulating mats with infrared radiation-reflecting metallised films or aluminium foils. They can have multiple layers of absorption-reducing air cushion films incorporated in order to reduce heat transmission losses. The construction of an air-supported hall built in this manner can be managed by two people in a simpler and faster manner, as can the disassembly, transportation and storage thereof.

The air hall consists of one or more membrane shells of plastic sheet. The membranes are formed as double-layered membranes with an outer and inner membrane and subdivided into strips. The strips (8) can be connected along their longitudinal edges by means of a welt with a welt connection profile so as to be fixed in terms of tensile force. The membrane strips (8) are 3-5 metres wide and extend over the entire hall from the ground on one side to the ground on the other side. Each strip forms a pocket. They advantageously contain over their entire surface heat-reflection mats which are inserted into the pockets, after which the membrane strips (8) are welded all the way around. Such mats are hybrid insulating mats with infrared radiation-reflecting metallized sheets or aluminium sheets. They can have installed therein a plurality of layers of absorption-reducing air cushion sheets in order to reduce the transmission heat losses. The assembly of an air hall constructed in such a way can be managed by two persons and proceeds relatively simply and quickly, as does the disassembly and the transportation and intermediate storage.

Foundation for an air-supported hall, built as a strip foundation that extends around the air-supported hall to be erected. Said strip foundation consists of factory-prefabricated concrete strip foundation elements (23). Said elements include an anchoring rail (22) that has a bar-connecting profiled element (1) comprising a bar-mounting profiled section such that the membrane (8), which is equipped with a bar (5) along its edge, can be releasably fastened to said anchoring rails (22).
