Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a composite profiled section (3) that has a core (1) and a shell (2), particularly intended for use as a reinforcing element or reinforcing rod in a preferably thermoplastic material, and/or for use as a reinforcing rod for a spring clip (11), wherein the shell (2) comprises shell fibres (4) that are laid around the periphery of the core (1) and, following application of the shell fibres (4) onto the core (1), at least one supporting fibre (5) is wound around the applied shell fibres (4) using a winding device, in order to produce a preformed precomposite profiled section (6). Alternatively and/or in addition, a method is disclosed for producing a composite profiled section (3) as describe above, in which the core (1) is produced continuously by foam extrusion using at least one extruder.

A receiving device for a supporting spring system (12) which has spring strips (15) is provided on the rear side (11). At least one spring strip (15) is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic material with a preferably pultruded fiber core (18) and a casing (17) which surrounds the fiber core (16) and is made of plastic. According to the invention, a respective casing limb (18) for an increased support surface area of the spring strip (15) protrudes on opposite sides of the casing (17).

Abstract

Abstract

A support (8) is provided which has a plurality of pockets (9) for respective suspension springs (5), and at least one suspension spring (5) has a fiber core (10) and a casing (11) made of plastic which surrounds the fiber core (10). According to the invention, a respective laterally protruding casing limb (24) is provided on opposite sides of the casing (11), said casing limbs (24) extending at least substantially over the entire length of the suspension spring (5).
