Abstract

The invention relates to an improved method for installing or repairing an elevator door, having a first step, in which the installation or repair is carried out on the elevator door, and a second step, in which the installation or repair is inspected prior to starting up the elevator door for general use. In the second step, the elevator door is first opened and closed at least once while the vibration of the elevator door is measured. A vibration profile, in particular an average vibration profile, is then formed from the opening and/or closing processes. The vibration profile is then compared with at least one comparison value, and a signal to accept or reject the installation or repair for general use is output on the basis of the comparison.

Abstract

An optoelectronic safety device for monitoring a machine movement includes a detection device and a control device. The detection device includes a transmitter unit which transmits an optical signal having a sequence of signal pulses, each of which has a different pulse intensity, and a receiver unit which receives the optical signal. The control device includes an evaluation unit which evaluates the optical signal received by the receiver unit, a pulse selection index, and a pulse selection unit which changes the pulse selection index if the pulse intensity of one of the signal pulses is outside of an optimal intensity range. The control device enables the machine movement if an intensity of a received signal is within a permissible intensity range, and outputs a trigger pulse to stop the machine movement if the intensity of the received signal is outside of the permissible intensity range.

Abstract

The method according to the invention is a method for safeguarding the car of an elevator, which is provided to form regular unlocking zones in the region around the envisaged stopping points at the stories, against unintended movement. The method monitors the speed of the car, the height position of the car in the elevator shaft and the status of the locking of the car door, and identifies possible stopping of the car, the height position of the car outside a regular unlocking zone, and a possibly unlocked state of the car door. A first sub-method of the method forms a temporary unlocking zone when the car stops outside a regular unlocking zone with the car door unlocked, and it assigns the temporary unlocking zone an upper and a lower boundary above and below the position where the car stops.

Abstract

Method for monitoring the speed of an elevator car, with the car door in particular unlocked, within the unlocking zone of the elevator shaft, having a first speed-limit curve, having a first switchover event, having a second speed-limit curve, and having a second switchover event. The first speed-limit curve has a range of values between a first maximum value at the entry to the unlocking zone and a first minimum value at the envisaged stopping point. The first switchover event corresponds to the car traveling beyond the stopping point or to a stoppage within the unlocking zone. The second speed-limit curve has a range of values between a second maximum value at the envisaged stopping point and one or two second minimum values at the entry to, and exit from, the unlocking zone. The second switchover event corresponds to a departure signal or to the locking of the car door.

Abstract

Light grid for protecting the door edge of a motor-driven door against collision with an object, having a transmitter strip and a receiver strip with transmitter elements and receiver elements, for detecting an object in the plane of the door panels by interruption of the reception of individual receiver elements. An evaluation device distinguishes between normal and safety cases based on the detection of a status for the door, identifies the safety case if the number of uninterrupted receiving elements between door edge and object falls below a critical number, and identifies the normal case if the safety case is not identified. A communication device outputs a signal for the status. The evaluation device determines a distance value corresponding to the number of uninterrupted receiver elements below the door edge up to the first interrupted element, and the communication device varies the frequency as a function of the distance value.

Abstract

In order to increase safety, a computer-implemented method is proposed for determining the position of a lift cabin in a lift shaft with the aid of a coding device, in which method a section of a code band and/or of the bearing device is/are recorded with an optical detection device as a pixel image consisting of pixels, a reference marking analysis is carried out, the pixel image is processed, in particular is assigned to a detection grid, pixels of the pixel image are preferably combined with the aid of their color and/or position in order to be able to read out the barcode and/or 2D code of the marking, the barcode and/or 2D code is converted to a binary code, the binary code is decoded by means of an algorithm and is converted into a position indication and/or into information as to whether a bearing device has been detected.

Abstract

Monitoring apparatus for monitoring a movement element pivoted between open and closed states of an opening to be closed, the apparatus having a sensor for detecting an object and for monitoring a spatial angle originating at or near the rotation axis. The sensor is fitted at or near the rotation axis and includes a transmitter and receiver for transmitting and receiving radiation within the spatial angle. The sensor emits detection signals generated by the receiver when radiation is detected. The monitoring apparatus includes an evaluation unit that evaluates the detection signals depending on the angular position of the detected radiation in the spatial angle and determines whether an object has been detected and/or the position of the detected object. The evaluation unit draws a distinction between the movement element and an object depending on the current angular position of the movement element.

Abstract

A monitoring sensor for detecting a test signal from an external signal generator at an input for receiving signals, to switch the monitoring sensor from a passive state to an active state when a signal is detected, to switch the monitoring sensor to a test state after a test period “t2” has expired, to change an output signal from an output of the monitoring sensor after an activation period “t3” has expired, this change in the output signal corresponding to a signal which arises when the monitoring sensor triggers a switching operation after an object has been detected, to convert the output signal to the initial state again after the withdrawal of the test signal has been detected, and to provide this renewed signal change as the signal for an external signal generator, the monitoring sensor changing to the monitoring state after this signal sequence.

Abstract

A sensor device including a source for electromagnetic radiation, a plurality of receivers for the electromagnetic radiation, and an electronics unit designed to transmit electromagnetic radiation by means of the source and to determine a distance which the electromagnetic radiation emitted from the source travels from the reflection surface of an object to respective receivers by evaluation of the delay time of the electromagnetic radiation and/or the phase of an oscillation modulated on to the electromagnetic radiation. The electronics unit for the detection of reflective objects, which are like floating parts and are distributed in three dimensions in a medium, is able to determine from the measured distances a first group of distances which fit a predetermined distribution, and, if there is more than one group member, to emit a signal which is associated with the detection of reflective objects which are like floating parts.
