Abstract

This device comprises a first structural element (1) comprising a bearing surface (10) having a horizontal first part (100) and a downwardly-angled second part (101), a second structural element (2) surmounting the second part (101) of the bearing surface (10), a first conveyer belt (3) mounted on the first structural element (1) and having an entry portion (30) and an exit portion (31) extending respectively over the first and second part (100, 101) of the bearing surface (10), a second conveyer belt (5) mounted on the second structural element (2), the second conveyer belt (5) having a portion, known as the holding portion (50), designed to press the hide (4) firmly against the exit portion (31) of the first conveyer belt (3) when the hide (4) is on the said exit portion (31).
