Abstract

According to various embodiments, trades may be filled based at in part on order price and fill rates determined for providers of orders. In some embodiments, orders at a given price in an order book may be ordered in order of decreasing fill rate, such that orders associated with a higher fill rate (or higher probability of fill) are preferenced above orders associated with a lower fill rate. In some embodiments, order books may also be ordered based in part on response times from order providers. For example, orders in an order book may be ordered according to an algorithm that preferences higher fill rates and shorter response times ahead of orders with lower fill rates and longer response times. Order book ordering algorithms may also consider order quantity and interdependence and duplication of order quantity.

Abstract

An apparatus for implementing a game having a deterministic component and a non-deterministic component wherein a player uses the game through at least one player interface unit. Each player interface unit generates a player record indicating player-initiated events. A random number generator provides a series of pseudo-random numbers, and a rules library stores indexed rules for one or more games. An interface registry stores mapping records used to associate the player-initiated events to pre-selected rules in the rules library. A control means processes the player record and returns an output record to the player interface unit where the output record is determined by executing the game's rules with reference to the pseudo-random numbers and predefined combinatorial algorithms for selecting sets of the pseudo-random numbers. Random numbers may be generated for use in a particular game or set of games, but not for use in all games.

Abstract

According to various embodiments, systems and methods are provided for enabling parties to create, define, buy, and sell usage rights in radio frequency (RF) ranges, e.g., via a computerized trading exchange. The usage rights may comprise exclusive or shared ownership or lease interests. A government or other entity may initially offer on the exchange usage rights in radio frequencies owned or controlled by the government. The usage rights may be sold to market participants, e.g., through a competitive bidding process such as a reverse auction, Dutch auction, RFQ, or other methodology. Such rights may be transferred subject to government use, e.g., in emergency situations. Information associated with offered RF usage rights such as historical usage data, geographical reach, and available RF equipment may be published on the exchange. The exchange may also enable secondary trading of usage rights.

Abstract

Methods, apparatus and article of manufactures for providing seamless transitions between graphical images on a binary options interface. A user-input is received on a touch-sensitive display of the binary options interface. The user-input corresponds to a request for a transformation of a graphical image that is displayed on the binary options interface. The binary options interface is integrated into a mobile device. In response to the user-input, an updated graphical image is generated. The updated graphical image is displayed to replace the graphical image on the binary options interface. The graphical image to the updated graphical image comprises a continuously displayed image.

Abstract

According to various systems and methods, financial indicators may be used as random number generators to determine variables, such as numbers and cards, for various games, including casino-style games like roulette and poker. Players may place wagers relating to one or more game variables, such as one or more cards, hands, a roulette wheel spin, a lottery number, or other variable or outcome of a game. After bets are received, one or more random numbers may be determined based on one or more financial indicators, such as a least significant digit of the price or value of a financial instrument, index, or financial metric at a specific time. The random number(s) may be used to determine game variables, such as a winning lottery number, slot reel values, or numbers and suits of cards dealt. In some embodiments, players may select one or more financial instruments or indicators that will be used to resolve one or more game variables.
