Abstract
A stirrup (1) for horse saddles (100) comprising a substantially plate-like body (2) in which there is identified an upper surface (21) with a substantially longitudinal development along a first development direction (X). The upper surface (21) is suitable to enable supporting the foot of a horseman when the stirrup (1) is laterally applied to the saddle (100). The stirrup (1) provides for that, according to a section plane (ττ-ι) substantially orthogonal to the upper surface (21) and parallel to the first development direction (X), the upper surface (21) has an asymmetric parabolic longitudinal profile (22) with concavity faced towards the outside.
