Abstract

The invention relates to essential details of the design and to the functional working principles of a - deformable element (13), which can - repeatedly hold variable volumes of liquid for a longer period, without the liquid coming into contact with the holder, by positioning it into a fixed holder for liquids which is part of a larger set of pipes, instrumentation and safety devices. This deformable element also covers the entire horizontal surface of the liquid and can change in size for this purpose, when necessary.

Abstract

The present invention relates to essential details of the design of an inflatable element (5), which can neither be moved nor deformed by the liquid (3), to its functional operation, and to the resulting predictable and repeatable ability to eliminate turbulent behaviour and to influence the behaviour of a liquid in a holder (2) or tank suitable for the storage or transport of liquids, in which the element at any liquid level and at any volume of liquid at least completely covers the horizontal liquid surface and in which the element can change both in size and in shape if required necessary by the geometry, the shape or the dimensions of the liquid holder or tank.

Abstract

The invention relates to a fluid impermeable thermally insulated holder, which is incorporated in a supporting structure (2), preferably the hull of a vessel, wherein the wall (3) of the holder from inside to outside in the transverse cross-width direction comprises: a primary fluid barrier layer (5) which is in contact with the fluid (4) contained in the holder, and a primary thermal insulation layer (6), the material of the primary fluid barrier layer (5) is a plastic that is flexible at low temperatures, the plastic being based on polyamide, and wherein the primary thermal insulation layer (6) is a fabric 3D-layer comprising two layers of permeable fabric, which are separated by a web layer or a nonwoven layer of fibres.
