There is also provided a system comprising a pair of ball sliding support assemblies, a pair of hinges, a synchronising mechanism for synchronising movement of the pocket door relative to the sliding support assemblies, and a means for aligning the sliding support assemblies relative to one another when setting up the synchronising mechanism. There is also provided a sliding support assembly which is resistant to being pulled apart by lateral loads. There is also provided an elongate rail for a sliding support assembly which can be adjusted in length without affecting the ease of mounting another component to the end of the rail.
The present invention provides an adjustable bearing assembly comprising a first bar and a second bar. The first bar comprises a first engagement surface which is configured to engage with a second engagement surface on the second bar. The first bar further comprises a bearing surface opposite the first engagement surface. One of the first or second engagement surfaces comprises a first plurality of teeth aligned in a first direction, wherein the plurality of teeth are configured to engage a plurality of inclined surfaces on the other of the first or second engagement surfaces such that a force applied to the second bar in the first direction causes the distance between the bearing surface and the second bar to vary.

Runners and slides made of metal for supporting shelves; runners and slides of metal for use in ovens. Parts and fittings for ovens; sliding supports and runners being parts of ovens.
The application discloses sliding support assemblies which allow for relative linear motion between two bodies. The sliding support assemblies include a rolling slide mechanism and a friction slide mechanism. The rolling slide mechanism provides a low resistance to sliding motion between the two bodies. The friction slide mechanism provides support to the sliding support assembly when the loading between the two bodies is increased.

The application discloses sliding support assemblies (10) which allow for relative linear motion between two bodies (11, 12). The sliding support assemblies include a rolling slide mechanism (20) and a friction slide mechanism (30). The rolling slide mechanism (20) provides a low resistance to sliding motion between the two bodies. The friction slide mechanism (30) provides support to the sliding support assembly when the loading between the two bodies is increased.
An elongate rail (2) for use in a sliding support assembly (1), the sliding support assembly comprising a slide member (3) slidable in a longitudinal direction relative to the elongate rail and first (4a) and second locating assemblies, the elongate rail comprising a channel section defined by a first web, a first flange, and a second flange; a first wall (7a); and a second wall; wherein the first flange and the first wall (7a) define a first channel for retaining the first locating assembly (4a) and the second flange and the second wall define a second channel for retaining the second locating assembly.
The present invention provides a sliding support assembly comprising an elongate rail of channel section defining a first web and first and second flanges. A slide cassette is positioned between the first and second flanges of the elongate rail such that the slide cassette and the first and second flanges define a first endless track and a second endless track and a plurality of bearing balls is positioned within the first and second endless tracks. The slide cassette comprises a body member formed from extruded material.

The present invention relates to sliding supports and particularly sliding supports having two elongate members of channel section and a locating assembly positioned therebetween. The locating assembly includes a plurality of bearing balls and a plurality of contact elements, and is capable of functioning without the use of grease or additional lubrication. The sliding support is particularly suitable for use in harsh environments.
A re-circulating ball sliding support comprises an elongate rail and a slide cassette. The slide cassette includes structure that interacts with the rail to seal the sliding support assembly such that the ingress of dirt into the slide cassette is prevented, and any lubricant for the balls is retained within the slide cassette.

The present invention relates to sliding supports and particularly sliding supports having two elongate members of channel section and a locating assembly (54) positioned therebetween. The locating assembly includes a plurality of bearing balls and a plurality of contact elements, and is capable of functioning without the use of grease or additional lubrication. The sliding support is particularly suitable for use in harsh environments.
The present invention relates to sliding supports and particularly sliding supports having two elongate members of channel section and an intermediate member positioned between the elongate members. The invention provides a sliding support with improved manufacturability and load bearing capability by providing an intermediate member of alternative cross-section.
The present invention relates to a means for mounting an article, such as a sliding support for a tray or drawer, on a grid which includes substantially vertical and/or substantially horizontal elongate bars, such as that which is commonly found inside an oven, dishwasher, or other household appliance. The means for mounting includes first and second fixing brackets which provide a stable way of mounting an article to a grid.
An apparatus including sliding supports and particularly sliding supports having two elongate members of channel section which slide one within the other. The apparatus addresses the problem of using such sliding supports in an orientation where the channels of the elongate members open vertically rather than horizontally. The sliding support preferably includes a damping mechanism for resisting relative sliding movement of the elongate members. The sliding support also preferably includes a mechanism for defining one or more intermediate positions between extended and shortened positions of the sliding support.

The present invention relates to sliding support assemblies and particularly sliding supports having two (or more) elongate members, which slide one within the other. The invention addressed the problem of shearing between a pair of such sliding supports used on an article which may be subjected to forces from several directions and which may cause one or both of the supports to jam. The problem is addressed by the arrangement of the elongate members on a sliding support assembly. The invention also provides a locking mechanism for locking an article being supported by the sliding support assembly in place relative to a base of the assembly.
