COVER ASSEMBLY WITH INCREASING PUSH RESISTANCE OF THE TAILPIPE COVER
The invention relates to a cover assembly (12) with a tailpipe cover (22) and a spring (14). The spring (14) has a stop (40) which can be moved by a tailpipe (36). The spring (14) can be deflected by a support (34). The spring (14) can act as a lever with a lever force acting on the tailpipe (36), said lever force increasing the further the tailpipe (36) pushes the stop (40) as the tailpipe cover (22) is pushed onto the tailpipe (36).
The invention relates to a cover assembly (12) for fixing a tailpipe cover (14) to a tailpipe (46), comprising a tailpipe cover (14) and a spring element (16) which is fixed to the tailpipe cover (14). The spring element (16) is first supported against a stop (24) in a deflected shape (18). The stop (24) is movably fixed to the tailpipe cover (14), and the stop (24) can thereby release or uncouple the biased spring element (16). The uncoupled spring element (16) then holds the tailpipe (46).
The invention relates to a cover assembly (10) with a tailpipe cover (12) and a holding element (16) for securing the tailpipe cover (12) to a tailpipe (14). A spring element (22) of the holding element (16) is designed to be bistable. By virtue of the bistability, the spring element (22) can be converted into a first stable shape (24) and a second stable shape. The holding force exerted onto the tailpipe (14) by the spring element (16) is lower in the first stable shape (24) than in the second stable shape. At least one section (18) of the holding element (16) can be secured to the inner face (20) of the tailpipe cover (12).

A load arm of the lever mechanism, having the distance A, is shorter than an effort arm, having the distance B. The length of the effort arm is precisely defined, because the end of the effort arm lies against the first pipe via a punctiform contact area. A first contact surface of a clamping spring is designed offset from the longitudinal extent of a main body of the first connecting element to save space in the longitudinal direction of the main body.
The invention relates to a tool (12) for fitting a tailpipe cover (14) to a tailpipe (16) of a vehicle. The tool (12) can be fixed to the tailpipe (16) by a clamping device (18) of the tool (12) for the tailpipe cover (14). The tailpipe cover (14) can be fixed to the tool (12). A moving mechanism (20) of the tool (12) serves to push the tailpipe cover (14) onto the tailpipe (16).

A section (38) of the clamping element (16) extends over the tailpipe (14) in the axial direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (24) of the tailpipe cover (12). The distance (50) between the longitudinal axis (24) and the clamping element (16) is designed to be at least partly shorter than the distance (54) between the longitudinal axis (24) and the tailpipe (14) in said clamping element (16) section (38). Alternatively or in addition thereto, at least one section (22) of the clamping element (16) is arranged at least indirectly against the tailpipe (14) in an immovable manner in the direction of the longitudinal axis (24).
The invention relates to an arrangement (10) for fastening a tailpipe cover (12) to a tailpipe (14). The arrangement (10) has a tailpipe cover (12), a tailpipe (14) and a bracket (18). The bracket (18) is arranged on the tailpipe cover (12). The tailpipe cover (12) can be latched here to the tailpipe (14) at a tailpipe projection (44), which is arranged on the tailpipe (14), by the bracket (18) being deflected laterally in the circumferential direction of the tailpipe cover (12).
