FURNITURE UNIT, CONVERTIBLE FROM WRITING DESK TO BED AND VICE VERSA
A furniture unit convertible from use as a writing desk to use as a bed and vice versa, said furniture unit includes a bed member (2) that can be tilted over a writing desk member (3) so as to define at least two operating positions: a day position, in which the bed member is in a substantially vertical position and the writing desk member can be used as a table, and a night position, in which the bed member is rotated into a horizontal position and surmounts the writing desk member.
An integrated modular kitchen, characterized in that it includes a tubular pole to which fixed modules and modules that rotate about the pole are applied; each of the modules constituting a functional kitchen component, such as a sink, a hob, a refrigerator, an oven, a table, a worktop, etc.; each rotating module defining at least two positions: a closed position, in which the rotating module is included within the contour of the fixed modules, and an active open position, in which a rotating module is rotated with respect to the fixed modules and is external to their contour. The modules are preset to be interchanged and to also receive other equipment. The tubular member has a structural function and the function of accommodating all the utilities. The tubular member is constituted by fixed modules with a single pitch or by constant modules with variable pitch. The unit includes a system for recovering and recycling the water used by the sink and by the dishwasher.
A fold-away bunk bed including a supporting framework to which two bedsprings, an upper bedspring and a lower bedspring, are hinged; the bedsprings have at least two working positions: an open position, in which the bedsprings are in a horizontal position, and a closed position, in which they are in a vertical position and are substantially included within the framework; the bed is characterized in that each one of the bedsprings is hinged to the framework by an independent articulated structure that is contained in a lateral shoulder of the framework.
A convertible piece of furniture (1), from sofa use to bed use and vice versa, having a framework (9) that supports a bed member (2) that can be tilted onto a sofa member (3) in at least two working positions: a day position, in which the bed member (2) is in a vertical position and the sofa member (3) can be used for sitting, and a night position, in which the bed member (2) is rotated in a horizontal position and surmounts the sofa member (3). The piece of furniture (1) is characterized in that it includes an articulated system that connects the bed member (2) to the sofa (3) and to the framework. The bed member (2) forms a lying surface in the night position, while the sofa member (3) forms a sitting surface in the day position. The lying surface of the bed member (2) substantially corresponds to the sitting surface of the sofa member (3). The sofa member (3) forms, in the night position, a retracted surface that is different from the sitting surface.
A47C 17/165 - Sofas, couches, settees, or the like, with movable partsChair beds changeable to beds by tilting or pivoting the back-rest with forward tiltable back-rest, e.g. back cushion
A pull down bed with automatic locking device has a movable framework, which constitutes a mattress frame, and is hinged to a container body, which constitutes a piece of furniture, so as to define a closed position, in which said mattress frame is substantially inside the piece of furniture, and an open position, for use as a bed, in which the mattress frame is in a horizontal position and rests on the ground by means of two feet. The mattress frame is hinged to the piece of furniture at one end and has its feet at the other end. The pull down bed includes a device for locking said mattress frame in the closed or horizontal position, which is actuated by an actuation device, which includes the feet.
A pull-down bed assembly including a movable frame which constitutes the bedspring and is pivoted to a fixed frame so as to define a closed vertical position, in which the movable frame is substantially in a vertical position, and an open horizontal position, for use as a bed, in which the movable frame is in the horizontal position; the assembly has a balancing system, which is adapted to control the movement of the movable frame with respect to the fixed frame. The balancing system is constituted by springs with a respective transmission mechanism, which are arranged within the fixed frame and the movable frame and are not visible from the outside both in the closed position and in the open position of the movable frame.
A pull down bed with automatic locking device has a movable framework, which constitutes a mattress frame, and is hinged to a container body, which constitutes a piece of furniture, so as to define a closed position, in which the mattress frame is substantially inside the piece of furniture, and an open position, for use as a bed, in which the mattress frame is in a horizontal position and rests on the ground by means of two feet. The mattress frame is hinged to the piece of furniture at one end and has its feet at the opposite end. The pull down bed includes a device for locking the mattress frame in the closed or horizontal position, which is actuated by an actuation device, which includes the feet.
A convertible furniture unit constituted by a sofa having an exposed wall and that can be converted into a folding double bed or into two mutually separate single beds. The conversion from double bed to two single beds occurs in the day version, with the beds arranged vertically, by virtue of the sliding movement on a rail (6) of the two portions (2, 3). The spring-based balancing system, the levers (18) and the fulcrums (22) of rotation are inside the supporting structure. The shoulders (8, 9) of the piece of furniture that embed the sprung bases in the day position are fixed to the sprung bases themselves and, by rotation, become the side boards of the bed in the night position; in this manner, the unit does not have, in the night version, the appearance of exposed wall-mounted furniture. The unit also allows, in the day version, to join without gaps the two seats into a sofa and, in the night version, to join the two single beds to form a double sprung base.
