A sheet piling filler-corner member includes one or more female couplings for engagement of male couplings of connected sheet pilings, and one or more male coupling members for engagement within female couplings of connected sheet pilings. A marine structure including a floating deck attached to a damper configured to control the vertical movement of the deck. The damper allows vertical motion of the floating deck in response to gradual changes in water level such as tidal changes, but resists bouncing of the deck in response to shorter term fluctuations in water level such as boat wakes or wind chop.

The sheet piling has a female interlocking feature with a pair of hooks and an engagement hook for releasably engaging the mandrel guide hook. A convertible capping system and methods of use thereof for capping a top portion of a sheet piling wall or other structure. A top panel of the capping system includes a widthwise spaced array of longitudinally extending parallel connection ribs, and defines an initial width at least equal to or greater than an intended final width, whereby a user can cut the top panel down to a desired final width corresponding to the thickness of the wall. A pair of side flanges have engagement features configured to attach to the connection ribs of the top panel after adjusting the width of the top panel, to assemble the capping system. Active gripping sheet piling installation system and method
A system and method for installing sheet piles using active gripping along side portions of the sheet piles. A sheet pile profile including first and second locking profiles and a gripping flange enables engagement of the sheet piles onto a mandrel for installation. Double engagement flanges on the locking profiles and an expandable connection between adjacent sheet piles provide improved resistance to fluid passage.

A method and apparatus for inserting a sheet pile (10) into an earth formation using a protective housing (12) releasably connected to the sheet pile (10). The protective housing has a fluid gallery and conduits for releasing fluid such as water onto the base of the sheet pile without jetting water into the earth formation. The method and apparatus are particularly suited for driving vinyl and plastic sheet piles into highly resistant soils.
A plastic sleeve is applied to a pole of varying cross-sectional area. A series of poles are advanced along their lengths through the opening of an extruder die, plastic is extruded onto the pole to form a cylindrical sleeve, and the rate of advancement of the pole through the die is adjusted in accordance with the increasing or decreasing diameter of the pole, so as to assure an even application of the plastic about the pole. The ends of the plastic are gathered while the plastic is still hot, forming a closure of the plastic about the ends of the pole.
