A bag and a method of making a bag having a first panel, a second panel and gusseted side panel, and each side panel having a tuck forming, folding geometry with folds intersecting at junctions with longitudinal folds at the first panel and second panel, and having an apex intersecting the center gusset fold, the apex and the junctions being intersected with respective transverse creases, at least a first region of the bag being flattened, a turned back portion of the first panel being turned back on itself and folded along one of the transverse creases, and the first region being pivoted and flattened against the turned back portion of the first panel An end of the bag is covered with a tamper evident structure having an adhesive tape with or without a tamper evidence security device and with or without a tear strip
A package is fabricated with a first polymer film having reverse printed matter thereon, a second polymer film laminated to the first polymer film to provide a composite, wherein the printed matter is between the first and second polymer films, and a woven bag enclosed by the composite, wherein the second polymer film of the composite isolates the printed matter from cross contamination with contents intended for the woven bag.
B65D 30/08 - Sacks, bags or like containers characterised by the material used with laminated or multiple walls in spaced face-to-face relationship, e.g. double walls
The present invention is directed to a package with a folded handle and methods for making the same. The invention includes a package including a front panel joined at respective opposite side edges to a rear panel to form a package having an interior and an exterior. The package has a folded handle formed by folding a plurality of marginal portions of the package in the direction of the front panel and joining at least one of the marginal portions to the front panel substantially along a seam extending transversely across the package, though not along at least one non-joined portion provided along the seam. The non-joined portion or portions of the seam provide access to at least one pocket defined by the at least one marginal portion and the front panel. The pocket or pockets can receive a user's hand or hands so the user can grip the package.
A resealable package and method of manufacture comprises, a first panel, a second panel joined to the first panel to form a package adapted to be filled with contents and sealed, the package having a foldable portion adjacent an opening of the package, wherein the foldable portion is foldable to close and seal the package, and a tamper-evident structure comprises an adhesive tape adhered to the foldable portion and adapted for adhering to the first panel while the foldable portion is folded to close and seal the package. A reclosable fastener assembly joined to the exterior of the package is adapted for closing while the foldable portion is folded to close and seal the package.
The present invention relates to a multi-layered composite bag used to store bulk type products such as pet food, seeds, fertilizer, cereals, grains, charcoal, sand, gravel, and other bulk products, including without limitation bulk products intended for human and non- human consumption, and provides a more efficient manufacturing process than using a paper/plastic structure. The present invention provides a bag [10] comprising a middle layer of woven mesh tubing [20] to which an outer layer of solid plastic film [30] is adhered using polypropylene or other polylaminates [40].
