Abstract

A hydrogen generation system for mounting to a machine in which hydrogen generated by the system is utilised to provide energy to a prime mover thereof. The generation system comprises a reaction vessel arranged to hold a water containing liquid; a substance delivery apparatus for selectively delivering a substance to the reaction vessel, which on contact with the liquid interacts with the liquid to generate hydrogen; and a pressure regulator assembly arranged to deliver the hydrogen at a pressure above atmospheric pressure to an energy conversion apparatus downstream of the generation system.

Abstract

A working machine includes a steer column; and a seat that rotates a rotation path between a first position and a second position. The steer column is movable between a first position, where the steer column is operable from the seat when the seat is in the first seat position, and a second position, where there is clearance between the steer column and the seat rotation path. A seat latch arrangement retains the seat in said first seat position; and a latch control mechanism releases the seat latch arrangement. The latch control mechanism prevents release of the seat latch arrangement when the steer column is in the first position. The actuator assembly actuates the latch control mechanism, wherein the actuator assembly is operated by movement of the steer column between the first position and the second position.

Abstract

A control system for an electric working vehicle includes a first component associated with a first rotor and a second component associated with a second rotor. In use, the first rotor is associated with a first noise waveform and the second rotor is associated with a second noise waveform. Furthermore, in use, the vehicle is associated with a resultant noise waveform comprising the first and second noise waveforms. The control system is configured to control an angular position of the first and/or second rotor such that a parameter associated with the resultant noise waveform is optimised. In this manner, the noise performance of the vehicle can be improved.

The controller determines a movement range of the load handling apparatus about the sway axis and issues a signal for use by an element of the working machine. The controller restricts or prevents movement of the load handling apparatus outside of the permissible movement range relative to the lateral reference orientation, the permissible range being dependent on the signal representative of the position of the load handling apparatus with respect to the machine body or longitudinal reference orientation and the signal representative of the stability of the machine.
