Abstract
To control entry into an area with admission free only for authorized persons there is designed a turnstile provided with a drive unit coupled with a pivoting head carrying barrier means, the head pivote axis being inclined with respect to a direction perpendicular to a passageway direction. The head (3) is equipped with a single barrier bar (4), the head (3) being coupled with a drive unit (2) providing for increasing rotation speed of the head (4) during the barrier bar (4) movement from the starting closing position to a position when the passageway is fully opened and decreasing rotation speed of the head (4) during the barrier bar (4) movement back to the closing position.

Abstract
For applications standard d-c machines require gear-boxes, there is designed a d-c motor provided with a first basic element (1) made of magnetic conductive material and carrying a system of unipolar oriented magnets (3) and further provided with a second basic element (2) made of magnetic non-conductive material and carrying at least one coil (4) with leads for connection to a source of d-c current. The coil (4) is located on a core (5) made of a magnetic conductive material and arranged mutually spaced apart along the system of the magnets. The first and the second parts are mutually relatively movable. In a preferred application the magnets are made of permanent magnets (3).

Abstract
A method of recognizing the risk of preterm birth consisting in observing the uterine activity based on uterine contraction analysis characterized in that the uterine activity of a patient is monitored continually, in the context of her movement activity, whereas data obtained from this monitoring are simultaneously measured and stored in the mobile sensor module, compared and evaluated consequently by application software using filtration and analysis algorithms of measured data by a method enabling consequential detection of uterine contractions, their frequency and intensity, evaluation of their causes and severity level; and, as a result, the early risk diagnosis of preterm birth. An arrangement for performing the method is formed by the mobile sensor module (1), which can be connected via its connector (13) to a home station (2) connector (23), said home station can be connected-through a wireless communication GPRS modem (24) to the data storage (31) on the FTP-server (3); whereas the data storage (31) can be then connected to an Internet interface (41) of a computer (4), or connected directly by the USB module (25) to the USB module (42) of the computer (4).

Abstract
For reading of contactless integrated circuits there is designed an equipment comprising a loop antenna (5) for transmission of oscillating magnetic field and means for detecting a contactless integrated circuit having an antenna coil and further provided with means for emitting short magnetic field pulses, means for detection a signal of an envelope of pulses detected from the loop antenna (5) which correspond to the magnetic field pulses and means for monitoring changes of the amplitude of the envelope of detected pulses and further provided with two independent sources (6,8) of high-frequency magnetic field, the first one of which being a source (6) of nominal output power pulses for communication with a contactless integrated circuit (7) and the second one of which being a source (8) of power output pulses of at least one order of magnitude lower than the nominal output power pulses, for mode of detection of presence of a contactless integrated circuit, while each of the two sources (6,8) of high-frequency magnetic field have a control circuit coupled to a common control unit.
