Abstract

This bra features a band with cups attached at or near each end. It secures to the user by stretching the band across the user's back and pulling the cups around to the front of the body. At this point, from the user's standpoint, the cups are criss-crossed such that the right hand cup will hold, support and/or cover the left breast, and the left hand cup will hold, support and/or cover the right breast. The cups are secured to the wearer via connection mechanisms positioned adjacent to the cups, which in turn connect to the band (on the inside and/or the outside of the band). In addition, the bra may also be secured at a center bridge area between the breasts that is created once the cups are criss-crossed.
