SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TESTING CONSUMER PRODUCT SQUEEZABILITY
In some embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to a method of testing whether a product has appropriate squeezability for consumer use. For each of a plurality of different products each contained in a standard tube, a maximum grip force for dispensing the product is determined using a glove with at least one sensor. Based on the flow rates and the maximum grip forces, a mathematical model indicative of a relationship between these values is determined. Then for a proposed product, a flow rate is determined. Using this flow rate with the mathematical model, the method can determine whether the proposed product has a maximum grip force that is within a predetermined range of maximum grip forces appropriate for consumer use.
