Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-skid device (10) for a tyre of a vehicle wheel which comprises an anti-skid raceway (11) to be placed on the circumferential tread of the tyre. The raceway (11) includes flexible blocks (12) distributed along a chain track (13) forming a loop such that the raceway (11) has a continuous shape and the flexible blocks (12) are spaced out along the chain track (13), and in that each flexible block (12) comprises a flexible extension (18) directed towards the rear of the rear edge of the raceway (11) to form the rear attachment means (18).
