Abstract
A rescue system for evacuating an incapacitated person from an elevated area includes a frame configured to be mounted on a pair of vertical posts extending upwardly from a surface of the elevated area, the posts defining a plane, wherein at least a portion of the frame is cantilevered out from the plane of the posts, and a lowering system supported by the cantilevered portion of the frame, the lowering system being configured to allow a rescuer to lower the incapacitated person by rope from the elevated area.

Abstract
An apparatus and related kit for forming the apparatus that includes a modular perimeter guardrail assembly useful on top of electrical transformers found in industrial settings. The apparatus and kit combines anchors, posts, braces, and midrail clamps that are able to be assembled by a worker quickly, safely and intuitively. The apparatus may be assembled, disassembled, and reassembled any given configuration of the guardrail apparatus on the same or different transformer and serves to prevent workers from falling off the top of the given transformer. The apparatus may be installed on an electrical transformer having post supports permanently affixed thereto for removeable attachment of post assemblies.

Abstract
An apparatus and related kit for forming the apparatus that includes a modular perimeter guardrail assembly useful on top of electrical transformers found in industrial settings. The apparatus and kit includes a plurality of anchors, each said anchor providing a post support and removably attachable to an edge of an electrical transformer; a plurality of post assemblies, each post assembly removably attached to a corresponding one of said anchors in a vertical orientation; a plurality of brace assemblies, each brace assembly removably attached to at least two of said post assemblies; and at least one midrail clamp assembly capable of providing removable attachment to exactly two of said brace assemblies at a midpoint thereof.
