Abstract

A headlamp (1) for healthcare workers is characterized: by being provided with a base part (10) that is substantially U-shaped and holds itself on the head of a wearer with the center thereof being in contact with the back part of the head and neck part of the wearer and left and right end parts (11) thereof resting on the upper part of the ears, a light source unit (20) that extends from the vicinity of both or either of the left and right end parts (11) and illuminates an area in front of the head with an LED as a light source, and a control unit (30) that controls the illumination state, including turning on and off of the light source unit (20); and in that the control unit (30) turns on the light source unit (20) when the base part (10) reaches a prescribed depression angle with respect to the wearer standing up.
