Abstract

An adjustable support system has a base bracket member, a clip member, and an outer bracket. The base bracket member has a first end wall that overlays a substrate, a body wall extending outwardly therefrom and a second end wall opposite the first end wall. The clip member has a base bracket member coupling, and a projecting arm. The base bracket member coupling is attached to the first end wall and overlies a portion of the body wall. The projecting arm is spaceable apart from the body wall. The outer bracket has a spanning wall with inner and outer sides. An outer end wall extends from the outer side. The spanning wall is slidably positionable between the body wall of the base bracket member and the at least one clip member, to sandwich the same. Wall assemblies, base bracket assemblies, and methods are likewise disclosed.

Abstract

A system for supporting exterior panels on a substrate of a building structure. The system has a plurality of polymeric bracket members, and each of the bracket members have at least one anchor section, at least one web section and at least one support section. The polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior panel to the substrate of the building structure. A plurality of exterior cladding units are held in place by the bracket members. A plurality of vents are disposed between the panels and the exterior panels, and a plurality of vents are also disposed between the panels and the substrate, thereby forming a ventilation system.

Abstract

A windowsill assembly includes a beam member and an insert bracket. The beam member includes a first leg and a second leg, the first leg meeting the second leg at a joining region at proximal ends of the first leg and the second leg. The insert bracket includes a first portion and a second portion that are substantially perpendicular to each other to substantially match an angle between the first leg and the second leg of the beam member. The insert bracket couples the beam member to a support member.

Abstract

An insulation system for coupling to a building substrate comprising a plurality of insulation panels, bracket members and splice members. Each insulation panel includes a longitudinal slot. Each bracket member is formed from a polymer and includes an elongated body having a body wall, a first end wall and a second end wall. Upper and lower ribs extend from the body wall and are structurally configured to extend into the longitudinal slot of each of the plurality of insulation panels, and to elastically deform the longitudinal slot so as to effectively seal along a length thereof, defining a vapor barrier. A similar structure is on each splice member. The bracket members are positioned in a spaced apart relationship with insulation panels therebetween. The upper and lower ribs extend into corresponding ones of the longitudinal slots of the insulation panels, with splice members extending between adjacent adjacently abutting insulation panels.

Abstract

A strap system comprising a plurality of straps. Each strap comprises a central body configured to extend within the first reinforcement channel, an outward jog at an upper end of the central body with an upper offset body extending therefrom, and a lower overlap portion extending from the central body opposite of the upper offset body. The lower overlap portion is positionable within the first reinforcement channel, while the upper offset body extending along the first end wall overlying the first reinforcement channel, whereupon positioning the first strap in operable position relative to the second strap directs the upper offset body into overlying position relative to the lower overlap portion of the second reinforcement channel, to, in turn, provide for the coupling therebetween by a fastener directed therethrough. A bracket member with a strap system, and a building system with a strap system are also disclosed.

Abstract

A router attachment assembly including a base plate, a first side support structure and a second side support structure. The base plate has an upper surface and a lower surface. A plurality of router attachment openings extend through the base plate, which are configured to correspond to openings on a router. Fasteners couple the base plate to the router through the router attachment openings. A central router axle opening allows a router axle to pass therethrough. The first side support structure extends from the base plate and defines a front face. The second side support structure extends from the base plate on an opposing side of the central router opening. The second side support structure includes a biasing member biased toward the first side support structure, to, in turn, urge a material extending through the channel toward and into contact with the first side support structure.

Abstract

A through-wall flashing device includes a metal exterior surrounding a polymeric core, wherein the metal exterior is substantially non-continuous or otherwise interrupted by thermal breaks disposed about the metal exterior. In assembly, the thermal breaks help to reduce or all together eliminate thermal bridging from an exterior of a building construction to the interior of a building or building wall. The through-wall flashing device is adapted for use with a variety of wall constructions and is specifically configured to provide insulation and moisture sheeting properties around doors, windows and other architectural apertures which may be found in a wall construction.

Abstract

A system for supporting exterior panels or cladding units on a building substrate. The system includes a plurality of polymeric bracket members, wherein each of the polymeric bracket members further includes an anchor section, adapted to be coupled to the building substrate, and a support section adapted to couple to the exterior cladding unit. In assembly, as disposed between the building substrate and the exterior cladding units, the polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior cladding units to the building substrate.
